Service was great! Very friendly and welcoming, the restaurant is great if you want to have a quiet business lunch or family gathering it works well. The food was well seasoned and cooked right. Even the prices are really good.
I tried the angus burger, it was medium the way I like it, a bit greasy but their fries are fire. It’s also huge so had to take half of it home.
The liver and onions, cooked to perfection and they even put the gravy in the side. Lots of onions that were perfectly cooked. Huge portion, so we took half of that to go.
We tried the crab dip, with actual crab in it and I thought it was too salty but fine.
I’ll def be going back to try their spicy chicken.

Now just to be fair…I eat here at least 3 times a week and yesterday I even came in and bought a $50 gift card because that’s how fond I am of this place. Fast forward today…I don’t know what happened the vibe was off from the moment I arrived and waited to be seated. After being overlooked, I was seated and ordered the same thing I order every day. AWFUL!!’n Beggies were cold, soggy and overcooked. Salmon dry…They did not tell me they were out of two items until after my plate was delivered. It may be time for a break.

Our first time here and man was the food delicious! Generous portion of lasagna and it was so good. The gyro and pasta salad was great. Melissa was our server and she was very attentive and nice. If you haven’t tried George’s you’re missing out.

Our first time here and was so disappointed after all the good reviews. My beef tips had absolutely no flavor so I had them switch to the hamburger steak with baked potato and side salad. When the steak came out, I was surprised to find my butter and sour cream was just thrown on my plate and the baked potato was old. Gravy was on it all. The manager was awesome about it all. When I tried to explain the issue to the waitress and offer her a suggestion to prevent this, she could have cared less. She tried to justify the condiments in gravy. Not again.

This place was so good. I promise there was more fried calamari than shown. We were just hungry and the picture was taken after we devoured most of it. Hehe. I fell in love with my baked spinach ravioli. It was so creamy and so cheesy. It’s been 8 hours since I’ve taken my last bite and I’m still reminiscing how good it was 10/10.
My husband has the hamburger steak. He said it was good but also it was missing something 8/10.
I also cannot forget to mention that owner (I think) walked around the restaurant to ask if everything was good and of course I responded with “it was delicious”. Thank you! Cannot wait to come back.

Food was exceptional. We were passing through and stopped here. We got a salad with chicken and the chicken salad sandwich special. The salad was fresh and huge. Both meals were delicious. Definitely will eat here again when in the area.

We just had the most delicious meal here. I ordered a chicken & pasta special and my husband ordered the salmon & crab special. Both were outstanding! We also tried the blueberry bread pudding for dessert & it did not disappoint! We will definitely be back when we are in the area again visiting our family!

Hands down one of the best restaurants I have been to. We came here last year and I had the shrimp and grits and wow it was the best I ever had. Granted, I am not big on shrimp and grits nor have I had a lot of it in my years, but it was so good we came back this year and I had it again. We also tried kids Alfredo and it was top notch. The Alfredo is very creamy and very well made (coming from someone who worked in an Italian restaurant for years). We also had the kebobs and aging they were very well done. Lastly was a kids pizza and I was surprised to see a high quality cheese on it. Overall a great place and it will be a regular visit for us when we come to the Henderson area.

This has got to be the absolute best restaurant in Henderson. The portions are awesome and the quality is on point. This place would be great in any city and is truly a gem for such a small town. I ate there 5 times in a week. That’s how good it is. Fresh ingredients and excellent service.

We were driving to Atlanta and selected George’s – and am so glad we did. Our meals were excellent! I had the baked spinach ravioli with marinara sauce and my fiancé had the Bravo shrimp pasta. Perfect portions. The Greek salad was good and included stuffed grape leaves!
