The food is next-level—fresh, bold, and made with real care. Every dish feels like someone in that kitchen actually gives a damn, and it shows. Whether you’re going in for drinks, dinner, or just a quick bite, they deliver every time.
But what really sets Door 222 apart is the staff. Friendly, welcoming, on point, and genuinely cool people who make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The vibe is relaxed, upbeat, and exactly what a downtown restaurant should feel like.
And right now, with all the 4th Street construction going on, these local businesses need us more than ever. Door 222 is still open, still crushing it, and still worth the extra few steps or a short walk from parking. Trust me—it’s 100% worth it.

Door 222 in Loveland is hands down one of the best spots I’ve been to in a long time! The food is absolutely fantastic — everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The drinks were just as impressive, perfectly crafted and delicious every time.
Shannon, the owner/bartender/manager, truly made the experience exceptional. She was welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt taken care of. It’s rare to come across service this friendly and genuine these days.
The atmosphere is incredible — lively, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax and have a great time. If you’re in Loveland, Door 222 is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!
Beans soggy, and they were too lazy to cut the branch piece off or remove bad pieces.
Bread was burned.
Mussels were very good. Only reason they got 2 stars.
Although the restaurant was busy, they were enough bussers and runners to make sure everything came out hot and service went smoothly which is almost unheard of in most restaurants. I was amazed for the price how five star everything was.
I have the goat cheesecake for dessert and although it sounds crazy it was outstanding with a nice lemon twist.
I will without question be back to enjoy the chef and a well-organized restaurant.
Service left a bit to be desired, not sure if they had no busser, but the food time was unpleasantly surprised like three times that she had to grab a dirty dish before having room to place our next course.
Shaved brussel sprouts, 8/10
Gnocchi shrimp scampi 7/10
Fish / Chips 7/10
Flourless chocolate torte 9/10
Grilled bread / butter 1/10. Just tasted like smoke
Dessert was the best dish. The main courses left a bit to be desired for the price. We should have listened to our server when he said he preferred the grilled bread and butter side order ungrilled–the char was the only flavor present.
There’s potential here but most things missed the mark, aside from the chocolate torte
