This was my first time visiting and I have to say I was a bit disappointed. First off I ordered a Smoked Brisket Cheeseburger, collard greens and a can of pop ($25.49). We asked for ketchup (which they don’t have on the table where you get the sauces and it took a good ten minutes to get some). The burger was good and juicy, but tasted like a cheeseburger not Smoked Brisket (I thought it was going to be Smoked Brisket on a bun with cheese. It looked more like hamburger and maybe they put Smoked Brisket in the meat, but I didn’t taste it. The collard greens were delicious. I may go back, but only because they seem as if they just opened recently and need to get the kinks out. I definitely won’t get the cheeseburger again. There looks to be outside space for when the weather is nicer.

I had been hearing all the ranting and raving about this place so I decided to try them out. Im glad I did! The line for this place was really long with a constant flow of people coming in. I LOVED seeing that. Parking wasn’t too bad, I did have to circle the block once to find a park due to the restaurant being on a busy street in a residential area.
Again, the food was really good!
Rib tips-9/10 very flavorful
Brisket sandwich-10/10 there was a lot of fat but not enough meat. The sandwich was very good though
Mac & cheese-9/10 cheesy with a good flavor
Greens-7/10 has a smoked taste
Baked beans-9/10 what can I say, I LOVE sweet baked beans

Had an amazing visit to Sanders Barbecue today. Everything from the food to the hospitality was top notch. The brisket was perfectly smoked, tender, and full of flavor, and the sides were just as impressive. You can tell there’s real passion and craft behind what they do.

I wanted to really love this place because I heard so many great reviews but unfortunately I didn’t have that experience first of all I’ll start positive the chicken wings were good if you like really sweet. The ribs are nice season well and tender I got the combo which had several things in there but it was definitely not worth it. There was like four pieces of bread underneath the meat. The brisket was hard and flavorless the sausage was soft and flavorless and do not get the cornbread that was the worst thing yuck it was like a hard caramel cake

I placed an online order to be picked up later in the day. My first time checking out Sanders, so I was not aware that there was a pick up spot around the corner from the restaurant, I waited in line for 10mins.
I ordered the 1/2chopped brisket, small Mac & cheese and a large collard greens. Everything was decent, my favorite was the collards greens. The small mac & cheese was packed but the large greens were not and for the $4 price difference I was disappointed. Most of the brisket was fat. The BBQ sauce has a nice favor.I went out my way to check them out. I can say I’ve supported.

This is a 5-star BBQ restaurant for people WHO DON’T EAT BBQ REGULARLY. If you just want meat cooked by fire with no flavor or finesse and feel like taking a picture, this place is for you. I know what you’re thinking: the guy on TikTok said it was amazing, and that one girl on Instagram said it was rated top 50 BBQ in the nation. The pictures make the meat look good. I’m here to tell you the meat “looks great,” BUT IT IS absolutely flavorless—not even a pinch of salt or smoke to the meat. You absolutely need every bit of BBQ sauce to give this food flavor, AND even then, ask yourself: did you pay 50 to 100 dollars TO GO SAUCE TASTING!? On to the positives: the mac and cheese was perfect, and the service was excellent as well. But you didn’t go to a BBQ place for cheese noodles and conversation—you went for meat, and I’m here to tell you they don’t have it. Take your money and your time to Green Street Meats, where every bite is flavorful. If you’re going to pay for BBQ, do it the right way.

The wait was long but the line did move quickly. They have a app and no wait on order pick up. I got a platter for 135 because I wanted to sample the bulk of the menu. Everything was very good. My fave were Mac&cheese and ribs were super tender. Brisket was ok. It looked better than the taste.still good though. Greens were ok as well but not one of my favs. Overall very good I did still enjoy my meal very much.oh the sweet potato cornbread was basically cake on top and cornbread below. Very good

First time customer-and it was an amazing, and delicious experience. Great customer service; friendly staff. Welcoming atmosphere. Everyone around me was thoroughly enjoying FOOD! I loved the variety of crafted sauces at the sauce bar. Looking forward to checking out the outside patio when it gets warmer.

A must try, but go early because the food will run out. That’s how good it is. There was no chicken products when we got there. They do announce it. The line was near the door, not too bad for a rainy day. The line moved pretty fast, about 15 minutes or less from the door entryway. I purchased the Texas Trio which is: beef brisket, 4-5 rib bones with meat of course, sausage, and bread. I don’t know why I didn’t get the pickles and the pickled onions. I love that. They show that in the picture. Maybe you have to ask for it. Also I think you have to ask for a site of sauce because I didn’t have any in the bag. I took mine to go. My husband got the whole slab, baked beans, and fries. I got the corn elote, and the sweet potato cornbread, deliciousness! The meat was tender. The taste was delicious. I love the brisket. The very best. The sausage was a little spicy but delicious. The corn, great tasting, and the sweet potato cornbread oh my God it’s delicious and goes really good with your food. If you want to eat there, there’s an inside and the outside area. I forgot yesterday was Sweetest Day so that’s probably why they ran out of food yesterday. Also, they probably ran out because it’s so delicious. You definitely have to try it. Be prepared to pay a little bit more than you would at your local barbecue joint.

The meat was sauceless and flavorless we received 1 SMALL CUP OF BBQ on the side which was disgusting because it tasted like nothing but VINEGAR..The “large sides” are not LARGE AT ALL , we got baked beans, Mac n Cheese and the cornbread that tasted like carrot cake ..The beans were a 1 out of 10, the Mac was a 4 and cornbread a 2 out of 10…again the portions were small for 125.00$ we got a rib tip plate that came with no fries and no sauce, meat was a little tough and no flavor, we also got a brisket with fries again no sauce and the fries were old and cold , NEXT was the combo that came with 4 bones and links AGAIN NO SAUCE ON NOTHING AND EVERYTHING LACKED FLAVOR …Never again and we will not recommend…we felt like we were robbed …WHO GIVES 125.00 BBQ ORDER WITH NO SAUCE MY GUY WANTED TO TRY THIS PLACE SINCE THE SUMMER TIME AND WHEN WE FINALLY DID THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE AND THE FOOD WAS EVEN WORST.. Pics below and the only reason the brisket has sauce on it is because I put Sweet Baby Rays on it at home as you can see the one small cup of sauce they provided for all this meat
