Was passing through and thought we would give Cowboy’s Steakhouse a try. The food was awesome they def know how to make the steaks juicy, the cash register lady was super friendly and our waitress was awesome. The only thing I would say prevented from a 5 star review was when we entered the restaurant their was a lady with ” long auburn reddish hair in a pony tail” not very friendly one expression all the time. We said thank you when she brought us to our table however she did not reply back. Something like that will turn a customer off.
You guys have great food and great servers however something like that can turn a customer off/or prevent a 2nd return.

The food was really good. The print we’re plentiful. I had the catfish and it was probably the best I’ve had in years. I got it on a bed of sweet potatoe fries. It was so good! The service was very friendly. Really cool things in the wall to read and the tables are very cool with local businesses engraved in the tables. You have to see it to appreciate it.
A good place for all crowds.

My husband met a coworker there for dinner Monday, 23rd. He ordered Steak. In the midst of his meal, he began to choke. Several staff witnessed this. He stood up struggling, literally driveling in his plate. The coworker a slight man, my husband 6’3. The coworker was at a loss, beginning to panic. My husband unable to speak. He stretched his neck, looking toward the ceiling. At that point, the obstruction moved down enough for him to take a breath. Taking small sips of water, he was able to regain some composure. His meal was obviously over. He could still feel the obstruction stuck, only further down. His plate covered in slobber. Not one employee came to offer aide, inquire as to his wellbeing. The waitress was standing directly by their table, during this incident, actually made a snide remark. While the coworker finished his meal, his slobber covered plate sat in front of him. I am appalled at the lack of action or concern exhibited. They were completely indifferent to the situation.

Cowboys Steakhouse & Restaurant in Big Spring, Texas is a true local gem. The food is excellent, with a small but mighty home-cooking style buffet that delivers big on flavor. Their famous chicken fried steak absolutely lives up to the hype. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. Be aware that the Sunday after-church rush can mean a bit of a wait, but it’s well worth it. If you’re looking for comfort food done right, this place won’t disappoint. Make sure you try the pecan cobbler!

I love coming to this restaurant. Tonight was my third visit and Sue was my server. Sue was very sweet and kind. She deserves a raise! Whoever cooked the chicken fried chicken knew what they were doing. My fellow sister in Christ came with me and said the green beans were spicy but “banging.” She said she is definitely coming back. I rode with her to at home service.

My friends and I had lunch there recently. The food was amazing. The wait staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. The portions were Texas sized. I will go again the next time I am in Big Spring!

My husband and I love this locally owned spot. We live in Odessa and occasionally make the a trip to Big Spring just to visit Cowboys. The steaks are perfectly seasoned, the steak fingers are delicious, and the fried green tomatoes are to die forand are a must try. The services is always great.

Food was okay, not very flavorful but okay enough to return. Service from our waitress Isabel was great though especially with her having multiple tables including 1 large party, she was attentive & made sure our drinks didn’t run low, even offered to top us off before leaving.

One of the best country, from-scratch styled American restaurants in West Texas! If you’re in or around the area, this place is worth the detour. Get there early on Sunday or be prepared to wait, but again, it’s worth the wait!!
