Ever since it’s opening, I’ve heard Maple Street Biscuit Company described as either a hit or a miss. Either you’re a big fan or you’re not and quite honestly, we were not impressed.
We ordered an Americano, soda, the Five & Dime (bacon, egg, cheddar, and gravy) and Squawking Goat (crispy goat cheese and pepper jelly). The goat cheese was anything but crispy. As someone who loves goat cheese and salty-sweet combinations, the textures and flavors in this dish were a definite letdown. Of the two, the Five & Dime was the better option, but even then, it didn’t feel worth the price.
Appreciate the concept, but the execution just isn’t there.

Visiting from out of town and decided to stop in for breakfast with my daughter. I had the hash bowl and iced caramel toffee crunch coffee. My daughter had the little grace chocolate chip waffle and apple juice. We both enjoyed our meals and it’s a cute place for a quick bite.

Went in for breakfast this morning and the place is pretty busy. The line to order moved along fairly well. Ordering is easy but after that is my issue. It’s hard to find four spots open or together. If you have a family, seating is challenging. Second they only have stools and very high bar stool type chairs. Both were terrifying to my three year old. We did finaly get a spot at the giant round table. So my fiancée and I both got retro plates. A fantastic biscuit that had a little crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. The blueberry jam was absolutely next level. The smashbrowns are seriously good. They have a Polish potato pancake thing going on. You only get two and I could eat like ten. The bacon is smokey and salty. The scrambled eggs were also very good. We were both very pleased with the food. My daughter enjoyed her chocolate chip waffles and fruit. All in all it was a great experience. Just bring some patience to order and find a seat. I would definitely recommend a visit and I will be back.

Amazing food. Service is a bit slow, but they cook everything fresh. Atmosphere is very Cafe style. Seating is a bit weird. A lot of big tables, and sitting next to strangers if it’s busy.

Outstanding food. Had the Squawking Goat and it was top notch. We got there 45 minutes before closing so the biscuits weren’t as fresh as they could have been but it didn’t matter. Chicken was moist and crunchy, perfectly cooked and great flavor. The fried goat cheese stole the show but the chicken and pepper jelly showed up and carried their weight. Coffee was very good as well. Definitely coming back again.

I’ve been a long time patron of MSB and figured it was time to write a quick review. I started coming for the coffee, but continue coming for the atmosphere. There’s plenty of room to bring your family in for a Sunday brunch or you can use the countertops with easy access outlets to do some studying and charge your laptop. The staff is very friendly and always have great recommendations if you haven’t been here before. Shout out to Grace, Beatrice, and Madilyn for always making me feel welcome and remembering my name when I walk in! I don’t usually like writing reviews, but I really believe this place was worth the time to give two thumbs up!

We have been here twice. The first time we went earlier in the day and everything was fresh and delicious. Yesterday, we went around 10 and the biscuits were not fresh… Like they had been sitting under a warmer for an hour. Crunchy and stale. The flavor is great but the stale biscuits ruined it.

Counter order and friendly staff. Industrial open design with some big tables for large groups. Very cool inside, so bring in your coat.
Smaller portion, but enough with sides if you have a healthy appetite. Liked the gravy, biscuits a whole grain, and a standard home size. Nothing amazing, but no complaints either. The waffle was very good. The fried green tomatoes were my favorite items.
The coffee was excellent and a lot of choices. Also, an adult drink selection was nice to see.
If I lived nearby, I’d probably stop by on occasion and recommend it to others.

Amazing absolutely amazing. The service was friendly. The food was fantastic, freshly prepared and cooked to order.
The hostess was very friendly and there is plenty of places to sit and enjoy a really really good atmosphere.
This is definitely going to become one of my new favorite breakfast spots when I’m in downtown!

Came here for some breakfast on Sunday morning and it was awesome. It wasn’t super crowded when we got there, but definitely filled up. The service was super friendly and fast. They were also able to answer any questions we had about the menu. We got the Farmer specialty biscuit and the Spinach Egg and Cheese Classic Biscuit, along with a fountain soda and a Maple Vanilla Latte. The food came out super fast and was delicious. The combination of the apple butter and the bacon and chicken on the Farmer was perfect. Slightly Smokey and sweet while still being savory and filling. The Classic Biscuit was light and filling. I loved the creamy goat cheese with the pepper jam it added a nice spiciness with a hit of sweet to it all. The egg was cooked perfectly how I wanted it. The selection is great, there is something for everyone on the menu. But, the service here was fantastic. Someone was constantly walking the restaurant making sure that people had what they needed and that their coffee bar was stocked. It’s a great place to grab some breakfast.
