I had such an amazing experience at Portillo’s! I tried the cheeseburger with small fries and a small drink, and everything was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and honestly hit the spot.
The restaurant itself is so cute, it gives off a classic diner vibe with a cozy,, homey feel. On top of that, the customer service was outstanding. Everyone working there was incredibly sweet and helpful.
I had the pleasure of meeting Sahar, who was very polite and took the time to walk me through the menu. She encouraged me to try dessert (best suggestion ever), and I ended up getting the strawberry shortcake and the chocolate cake. Both were AMAZING, seriously the best choice. The cakes are made in-house, and you can even purchase full cakes for parties, events, or catering.
I definitely, recommend this place. It’s perfect for bringing your family and enjoying great food in a welcoming atmosphere. I will absolutely be back!

We had excellent service two times with an online catering order. It was prepared on time, well packaged, fully supplemented with condiments, extras and supplies. The food was tasty. Prices were reasonable. The restaurant is large, clean, well lit, nicely decorated, and safe. There is a drive thru option. Plenty of free parking near the restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s a great taste of Chicago in Tucson.

What a special place! My wife and I love going here. The atmosphere is amazing, as is the food! Chicago dogs are better than Sonoran dogs The workers are very friendly and the bathrooms are clean. Misters in the summer mean you can sit outside (although the inside is much more fun!

Whose bright idea was it to put macaroni in a chopped salad? I am gluten free and when the server was asked about gluten, she had no clue. Good thing I am not celiac and saw the macaroni before putting dressing on, otherwise this might be a different conversation.

This was my sister and mine first time. We walked in through the revolving door, and wow. It was like walking into the 50’s, so clean, everyone was nice, we got the burgers and fries, they didn’t disappoint, place was very clean. I will be going g back there!

My first time in and I had such a delicious experience at Portillo’s! I ordered the Maxwell Street Polish Dog on French bread, fries with cheese sauce, and the chocolate eclair cake–everything was absolutely amazing! The food was ready fast and the dining room was decorated so cool and everything was very clean. The Polish Dog had the perfect snap and the bun was perfectly made and held the generous grilled onions and yellow mustard through the whole meal. The fries were crispy and golden, and dipping them in that creamy cheese sauce? Next level. But the real star of the show might have been the chocolate eclair cake–light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet. You have to get dessert – they are sinfully delicious!
A big shoutout to Jon at the counter–he was super helpful, took the time to walk me through the menu, and made a spot-on recommendation. His friendly attitude and patience made the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!

I ordered food for myself and my daughter and about making it home so that if we were missing our fries. I called the store and the guy told me that he’d relay this message to management and placed me on hold. After waiting on hold for almost 10 minutes the same guy got on the phone and said to please continue to hold that the manager named Ray would be with me shortly after dealing with other customers. He then placed me back on hold for almost another 10 minutes until someone picked up the phone and just hung it up without saying anything. After calling back several times, they seem to refuse to answer the call or hear my complaint
