I went here with my family and the food portions were HUGE. The staff was so friendly and attentive to our needs. It was large inside and spacious enough so we were not sitting so close together. The peanut butter pie was delicious and so wasn’t my sandwich but the portions were so large I had to take them home.

The attitude of the older lady who was cashing out the dine-in customers was enough for me too not go back. I asked her one short very simple question, and her response was rude. I can think of many professional; kind, customer friendly ways my question could have been answered, and resolved very quickly and easily. I don’t get it you have a business but yet treat your paying customers poorly. I don’t want to get it! However that is their problem not mines! I was ordering take out for breakfast. First, I can cook my own breakfast better and much more tastier and healthier. I never really cared for breakfast here as it’s no comparison to breakfast served in the South. I did not visit because the food is great!!!!!

Stopped in for lunch cause we wanted someplace with a local feel. It was delicious! Husband had the seafood platter, I had the top sirloin. It was yummy. I like mine medium well, and often restaurants will burn it, perhaps to make a point. Not this place. Done just how I like it, still juicy and not much fat at all, which made me very happy. Stop in, you won’t regret it.

Where to begin. Our experience here was horrible, unacceptable and disappointing. We joined our mom for breakfast on Sunday morning to celebrate her birthday. The restaurant was busy but not super busy. My mom arrived before 10 am and ordered we arrived shortly after. We had a party of 10. We were not served our breakfast (mind you simple breakfast orders) between 11:20 am-11:30 am; 1.5 hours later. Completely unacceptable. We had members in our party who are diabetic waiting and extended amount of time for food. I spoke to one of the Managers and her response was that it depended on what time we ordered, we were a large group, that they were short staffed in the kitchen, basically blaming the waitress and making excuses; no apology. She said she would find out and she disappeared never to return. We understand large group, short staffed, but an hour and a half, that is an extensive amount of time to wait and unacceptable. We have been out with large parties in several restaurants before and never waited this long, especially for breakfast. Once we finally were served, the food was cold, not one plate was hot not even luke warm. We ordered chicken and waffles and it was served with no chicken (Chicken fingers; 2.5 fingers arrived after breakfast was done. My aunt put butter on her pancakes and it did not melt or spread. They put my aunt’s pancakes in the microwave to warm them and they still did not melt the butter. My brother’s corn beef hash (looked like it was out of the can) came after breakfast was done. At the end of the meal they split the bill per our request. THE PRICE OF ALL OF OUR MEALS WAS EXORBITANT, RIDICULOUS AND ANOTHER REASON WE WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS RESTAURANT. Each check had the split amount of the 18% gratuity for a large party which was not worth it. Single person breakfasts were approx. $30 each, for breakfast. $30 for breakfast this is not a Michelin Star restaurant. There is more. Another Manager came over to our table as we getting ready to leave and check out. I explained nicely the entire experience; no response. No apology, no compensation, just excuses. Nothing. It is unfortunate because we eat out a lot and write reviews. This was one of the worse experiences in a restaurant we have ever had. We spent close to $200 collectively on the worst experience ever. WE WILL NOT RETURN OR RECOMMEND THIS RESTAUARNT TO ANYONE!!!

We went for a quick lunch. Food was good, server was nice and efficient. food was hot when it came out. wish coffee was hotter or maybe a way to microwave (I didn’t ask sure she would have if I did, I still drank it ) But we will be back to try something else.

Servers were wonderful! Food was okay. But to be fair, we were a large group (over 30) and there was only one waitress. Other staff pitched in to help deliver food, but she was pretty much on her own and did a great job!

A very nice diner experience. The staff was very responsive and made sure we were seated in a comfortable place for 5 and were quick to pick up a water spill.
The food was average but as advertised. I had a Mediterranean omelet with gyro and feta and added some tomatoes.
The fried haddock was massive! When they ran out of coleslaw they gave my friends grits.
