My first time having Peruvian food. Sad that they were out of anticucho, but the rest of the food was great! Salchiyucca was an interesting appetizer with the crispy yucca, hot dogs, and huancaína sauce. The dish was fantastic with the crispy yucca that tasted like French fries with the very tasty sauce and salty hot dogs on top. The ceviche was very good and different with the sweet potato and corn, but it was very refreshing and great with the strong amount of lime. The Lomo saltado was steak stir fry topped on French fries with a fried egg and fried plantains. It was very good but was my least favorite of the three, since the other two dishes were just that good!

The restaurant is small, so be sure to make reservations ahead of time in order to ensure a seat upon arrival. The chicken empanadas were great and so were the yucca fries. The entries had lots of flavor and the chicken was really tender. If the restaurant is full, be aware it might take longer to get your food.

Service was prompt and very friendly. There is a pretty extensive menu, lots of options without it being overwhelming. We tried several small dishes and then each had an entree. We had plenty to eat but didn’t feel overly full because the food is fresh and doesn’t weigh you down! We all loved the Papa a la Huancaina, the sauce is amazing and the potatoes are cooked perfectly. A couple of us don’t usually like cilantro but the creamy cilantro sauce served with the empanadas is so good, we all enjoyed it. It was nice that they brought out our small dishes as they were ready instead of everything at once, it made it easier to enjoy.

Heard really good things about Chef Paz so I had to give it a try — and it did not disappoint! I went there with my family, and from the start we were impressed. They offered natural juice, which was amazing and super refreshing.
We ordered plantains and the flavor was on point. The chupe de camarones was incredible — rich, flavorful, and comforting — and the ceviche con camarones y pescado was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was fresh and perfectly seasoned.
Honestly, 10/10 for the food. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic flavors and a great family dining experience!

Came here with a friend who said the food was really good and he wasn’t lying. Really amazing food and fantastic service. The restaurant was nice and clean and the speed of the staff was amazing. Good food, good drinks, nice restaurant, and amazing service. I will absolutely be stopping again.

Found this cozy gem and loved the vibe. The service was great, and the beef stew with cilantro sauce was really tasty. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re in the area!

The dinner entrees where top notch. An excellent combination of flavors and presentation at a size just right for the price. Our desert was the best tres Leche we’ve ever had.

Served wrong empanadas. The lomo was tough and over cooked. The steak for my son’s dish was almost all fat. The beans portion of the tacu tacu was good. I have had this dish many times in Miami. Was so disappointed in this tacu tacu. Again the lomo was so tough.

The food is massively .. massively over priced. I ordered the cilantro beef stew with the rice and beans . EXCELLENT flavor, let me just say that. But you get three little toddler sized pieces of meat, and the rest is rice and beans. I’m paying essentially $25 for rice and beans featuring beef. Outright criminal. And if you want to add three more pieces of meat.. $12.50! I will never buy again simply because morally I cannot find myself to donate money in this fashion. Not to mention it’s just white rice and regular pinto beans. The cilantro sauce they give you is also quite literally a SHOT of sauce. If you dine at a restaurant and feel the need to order extras of what SHOULD be on your plate.. something’s wrong. Unfulfilled. Highly disappointed. Outright .. criminal.
