Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant’s on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille’s wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 – 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. We can’t recommend our server, Chelsea, enough. We were blown away by the amazing service, food, atmosphere, and all around experience. We came to celebrate my husbands birthday and our server Chelsea made it the best experience we’ve ever had at a restaurant! Other employees came to our table and we felt like royalty with the attentiveness and the hospitality from everyone. She was knowledgable about the menu and we loved all of her recommendations. Every worker seemed so happy to give us the best experience and they didn’t make us feel like a bother for bringing a toddler with us. Chelsea had the table set up so beautifully with rose petals, a handwritten note from her and the staff, and we never had to ask for a single thing. She even had a high chair and colouring pages set up for our toddler before we got there. Since we had a reservation, Chelsea put us in a more open room away from other customers so that our son could play and make noise without us feeling like we bothered everyone. She even talked and played with our toddler and he just loved her. She thought of everything and went above and beyond for us and I couldn’t be more grateful. The food was phenomenal and again the quality of it all made us feel like royalty and we were blown away and loved every single thing we got. My favorite part was dipping my steak in my sons mac n cheese. Their mac n cheese is the best you will ever have and the steak tasted better than any other I’ve experienced. We are so very grateful for the best experience all around and we will definitely be coming back and requesting Chelsea for every special occasion from now on. Thank you all for the best date that we will never forget!

Our dinner here on Valentine’s Day was absolutely lovely. Marko was outstanding. They were very busy, but he continued to update us on the status of our meals, and was very apologetic, even though we assured him many times we were in no rush. He also made sure to accommodate my dairy allergy. He comped our dessert for us as well, which was NOT necessary, but was much appreciated. The food was hot and wonderful. We aren’t local to Indy, but we will be back.

Great place for a date night dinner with upscale dinning. The lamb chops were amazing. Got crème brûlée for dessert and that was perfect! Also their In-Fashion is a great take on the traditional drink, it was very tasty. Are wait staff was top notch. And quick tip, do valet parking!

WOW. WOW. WOW. I hosted an after party event here for my company on Tuesday December 2 after our CEO won an award. Will & the events team at Capital Grille were PHENOMENAL. The level of professionalism is totally unmatched compared to similar events we’ve held and teams we’ve worked with. Will gave me a call morning of, walked me through the space 2 hours early, and adjusted for all of our last minute changes with such grace and hospitality. Jordan and Josh, who were our main servers were so on top of it the entire evening. He made our guests feel welcome, and was so personable with each of them, even though we had 30+ people there!! The food and drinks were all outstanding. We had to keep adding because people just could not get enough. And to top it all off, Jordan recommend me a personalized spirit free mocktail that was seriously the best. Not a lot of places carry Spirit Free mixers and it was nice to have a mocktail that wasn’t basically Juice!! Will stayed until the end of our event, and made sure that we were 100% set to go and everything was perfect. I seriously could not recommend this place and the team more!!!
