I go to 85 bakery in Southern California and its one of my favorite bakeries so while vising SLC I came to this SLC Utah location and got two Hokaido buns (always get those) and other things. These Hokaido buns were nothing but disappointment. They should be completely filled with cream. Both buns had very little cream just at the part you could see. I feel like I got scammed. I know they are not supposed to be like that. I never had Hokaido buns so sad and tasteless. The customers in Utah are not getting the same experience. They are getting scammed I’m sorry. I hope this problem gets fixed.

The last time I was at an 85°C Bakery was in Houston, TX. I was so excited to see that there is one in SLC. My visit at the Texas location was so overwhelming! There were so many baked goodies everywhere. And I remember having a yummy blended coffee drink. I’m hoping to relive the same overwheling excitement at this location.
Walking in, it’s bright! It’s filled with baked goods! It smells devine! Everything looked so good. They had a great variety of everything. Sweet, savory and everything else in between. I found myself heading towards the mini cake rolls, the chocolate roll caught my eye. My daughter grabbed a cream filled chocolate bun and a strawberry and cream croissant. At the register I grabbed a 3 pack of chocolate chip cookies. I was in heaven with all my goodies!
At check out my daughter and I did order a couple drinks. I got a blended chocolate caramel frosty type drink and my daughter got a grapefruit bubbly.
My drink was so good! It was icy, chocolatey and sweet. My daughter was on the fence with her drink. There were only large size available which sucks. You waste a whole large drink taking a gamble on it. She’s sipping on it but I’m sure she’s not going to finish it. Unfortunately, I couldn’t try it due to the medications I’m on.
I’m looking forward to trying my goodies later. I’m so full from lunch. My daughter did have her strawberry and cream croissant and she said it was delicious! I’m staying here for a few more weeks so I look forward to grabbing another round of goodies soon!

The pastries here taste really fresh, and the matcha was delicious as well. Everything I tried was very delicious, and the bakery has a nice, welcoming vibe. Definitely a great spot to grab a treat and a drink, definitely I’ll be coming back!

The lime green sponge cake rolls was amazing!! The bread roll was excellent.
A cutesy and fun bakery cafe, it’s hard to walk by and not make a stop. You’ve to give this bakery a try. Fresh bread, coffee, tea, rolls, sponge cake and dessert cakes. You will be glad you did!

Wow, I am so impressed with 85°C Bakery in Salt Lake City inside Chinatown! The coffee was amazing, perfectly balanced and super fresh. And the desserts… absolutely to die for. Everything we tried was so delicious, from the pastries to the cakes light, flavorful, and perfectly made.

Both times I’ve been there I’ve seen employees putting fresh items on the tables and it’s nice too see that.
Paying was an easy and quick process, and they have a self payment option for people who want drinks. The atmosphere is great and I love the design and organisation of the place.

Cool, fresh environment! The selection was huge and there were so many new things to try at this Japanese and French fusion bakery. They even had a coffee bar. I was shocked at how inexpensive everything was! There were lots of people inside, but the line moved very fast!

Waited 20 minutes for a boba to come out with cold, stale/hard boba. Last time I got this it was a lot better, it seems the quality is going down. Would recommend getting something else or going somewhere else.
