Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Placed a large order for pickup. Pickup time was 4am! Everything went seamlessly. The manager and staff were so nice and friendly! At 4am! Food was for a meeting at work for 30. It was hot and delicious! I will definitely do this again. Thank you for a great experience!

I can’t believe how Bad are Dinner was as for what we paid everything was all wrong and for me to go back and take everything it’s just not worth it be already waited almost twenty five minutes for our food and then to go back and wait longer it is terrible service , as you can see with old lettuce on my Burger and the spicy chicken was burnt not going over there anytime soon

I came in to pick up food and the young lady at the register was unaware where my food was, so she went in the back and asked the crew. Her manager came up front being extremely aggressive and loud with the young lady which was unacceptable. Especially at a fast food restaurant where none of them are paid enough to tolerate that nonsense. If you’re reading this, it shouldn’t matter how many times you have to tell an employee something, you don’t lose your cool and you DO NOT DISRESPECT those who help management look good. Shame on you.

I always come here and never had an issue. Around 11:50 pm on 3/4/2026 I tried ordering a big ranch wrap and asked if the chicken in the wrap was equivalent to the chicken on whatachicken. The person taking my order refused to answer the question with any details whatsoever and instead kept saying it’s just a regular tortilla. Her response did not answer my question at all which led me to order a whatachicken instead and lost the opportunity to order something new in your menu. Not good customer services at all.

Came in for a midnight snack almost waited an hour and still didn’t get my food. I left bc why would I wait an hour for Whataburger that’s gonna be mid. The north park location is way better & way more professional.

Was eating for lunch there today, when an odor took over me and I realized there was a woman sitting in the back with a dog and urine in the size of a puddle 5×5 ft I asked the manager what’s going on? I guess they spoke to her but could not get her to leave. I just got home and realized my lungs are on fire from breathing the stench of urine! This is not right! Between the urine stench and the chemicals they were using to clean it this is a major health hazard! I will be reaching out to corporate possibly an attorney, this is ridiculous The police should have come and called and had a welfare check done! She should not have been able to sit there for another 20 minutes. Maybe I should have left but hindsight’s only 20/20 until you realize your lungs are on fire!

What’s the point of customizing my order if the employees don’t bother reading the ticket and just make whatever they want? One would imagine that the ability to read would be required to be employed here. Apparently not.

This location never seems to have fresh fries. I rarely eat out anymore and wanted to treat my son to a kids meal today and got a medium fry for myself. The chicken strips in the kids meal were fresh and crispy, but both order of fries looked and tasted like they’ve been sitting out all day. They were just room temperature, soggy, and brown. We came here at the beginning of May and got the same nasty old fries.

My family got food poisoning from this location. Burger meat was dry and fries were cold. kids working here in the evening and cutting corners. Quality control was awful.
