Shout to our sever Erin she always does such a great job. I always have such an amazing experience at this restaurant when I come. Our sever was attentive without hovering and she has such a warm genuine personality. It’s very clear the management of this restaurant is doing an amazing job. Every worker your greeted with is super sweet, definitely recommend Erin !!

Always a great experience here. My favorite place to eat at. Always fast service and not long wait times. Atmosphere is always perfect with great music. El nopal especial and chori pollo are our favorite

This was my first experience here and it was fine, but I probably won’t be back.

FOOD:
-The prices were just fine. There are some good combination specials, etc. However, the value for your money was mediocre.
-I ordered the fajita burrito. I was disappointed that it contained GIANT chunks of veggies. They aren’t even bite sized. I had about a half of a Roma tomato in my burrito. Also, for the price, I would have expected rice and beans or at the very least, lettuce, tomato, and sour cream.
-My son ordered two plain beef tacos and cheese dip. You can’t mess it up. And they didn’t. He enjoyed it!

SERVICE:
As other reviewers have stated, service is lacking. Our waiter was nice, but we were in a corner in front of a busy breezeway (with the kitchen to my back). Our waiter stood behind me so that I had to turn nearly 180 to look him in the eye. The food was prompt, but our waiter never revisited to check on us or refill our beverages. We were very much an after thought.

ATMOSPHERE:
There are few things I hate more than LED daylight bulbs. It’s the quickest way to bring the vibe down. The mood lighting above the tables is very nice, but these high, backlights are just dreadful. However the booth seats are private and comfortable.

BATHROOMS:
Not great. They are dirty and not well cared for. There is a diaper table outside of a stall. The lighting is also dreadful in there.

TIPPING:
The tipping suggestion at the bottom of the receipt is a tip on top of tax. It’s negligible, but purposefully deceitful. You are meant to tip on the subtotal.

If you are looking for an amazing Chicken Taco salad, this is your place to go!! The shell is perfect every time, the lettuce crisp, the chicken, tender and flavorful, and the shredded cheese and queso make it oooy goooy delicious! Add some of their delicious salsa to that, and it is the perfect meal!!!

We have NEVER been in this place when it was unclean!! Even the bathrooms are well maintained!

it’s my favorite Mexican restaurant in Cartersville!

The Texas fajitas for two were excellent! The agua fresca came in what I can only describe as enormous (!) glass beer mugs and were an excellent value. The staff spoke both Spanish and English, which was great for our bilingual group.

Decent Americanized Mexican food. Ordered chilequiles twice, once with the red sauce that comes standard and the second time I requested salsa verde instead and it was a lot better. Portions are fair for the price. Salsa is very much like a tomato paste and tastes like it could be. Queso is plain but good. Service was great and very attentive. Bar in the back with TVs.

Seating time quick. Server meh .. she acted like she didn’t want to be at work or be there, facial expressions, the way she spoke, barely came by but server who came towards the end GREAT & friendly and the manager GREAT also friendly. Food was great they just forgot the shrimp. Fresh avocado dip AMAZING! Very flavorful. Would have gave 5 stars if service was better.

I came at 8:15 and order the food. The server was quick to ask about alcoholic drinks but did not bother to ask us about the water.

He was busy, walking around but didn’t bother to check for basic things.

It took exactly 1 hour for the food to come.

I had to ask for everything like water, chips, napkins and status and then wait forever. It’s like the server didn’t enjoy doing his job.

Oh, and others who came way later then us and got served within 20 minutes before our food was served.

Food was mediocre at best. The other El Nopal on Cobb Parkway was incomparably better.

Really dissatisfied and disappointed. Customer experience was ZERO!

Oh wait, but there’s more. It took another 20 minutes for the server to bring the check after he brought the to go box.
