We ordered a family bundle on the app. When we opened it at home it was missing the chicken tenders. I wanted to go back right away but decided to eat first then return for the tenders. I took a bite of my chicken sandwich that I asked for no pickles because I have a horrible allergy to them. I immediately tasted pickle and spit it out. Ive taken allergy meds but I will probably end up sick tonight. Im not only upset about the missing food but also that they gave me something unsafe to eat. It was even on the receipt that I wanted no pickles as well as marked on the bag.

I stopped visiting this establishment a while back do to the service/food issues, never complained just walked away. I decided to give it another try and see nothing has changed in the last 2-3 yrs. Here are some of the owners comments on addressing previous complaints, bottom line nothing has improved, maybe fire the employees and start new fresh with ones that understand the customers language.

Employees were somewhat friendly and nice. Food was cold by the time I got home. And after eating my fried chicken cold slaw and Mac and cheese I had the worst diarrhea ever in my toilet. I want a refund or I just might not even bother returning.

“Buffalo wings” like what is this? Pure laziness and after I paid almost $30 too. Also unsure if I was served a biscuit or hockey puck because I almost broke a tooth on the first bite.

Third time I stop here while visiting Poughkeepsie. The second time I did not get rewards point for a chicken sandwich and I never claimed it. The third time (Sat Jan 10) I bought $26 worth of food and again I did not get the rewards point, went to claim it on line and the receipt did not have the required 20-21 digit number. I went to the store and it was shear frustration trying to get them to understand. They DID NOT UNDERSTAND I needed a receipt number to claim my points. They (a few workers) kept talking to each other and one explaining to the other, bottom line they DID NOT GET IT…. Never again will I go there, even though I will be living close by very soon. Oh, and the fries were old and soggy.
Got a reply from the owner, a scrimped canned response, yet no mention how I could get MY MISSING POINT. Nope thank you, that restaurant will not have the opportunity of serving me in the future.

⭐️ 1-Star Review – Extremely Unprofessional Experience

I stopped by this Popeye’s during the middle of lunchtime and the restaurant was completely closed with NO sign on the door. Employees were sitting inside, and a few were even behind the counter, but no one said a word to customers waiting. I stood there for about five minutes before someone finally decided to tell me, “We’re closed.”

The worst part is that I had already placed an order online and was waiting to pick it up. Now I’m stuck trying to figure out how to get my money back because no one there seemed concerned or willing to help.

This was an unorganized and frustrating experience from start to finish. If the location is closed, at least put up a sign, turn off online ordering, or notify customers. Absolutely unacceptable.

Good food, good prices. This store was a little slow, but friendly. It had a drive through, and places that have one seem to place higher priority on the drive-thru, at the expense of the lobby customers. Staff was plentiful, yet they passed me by 10 times before someone finally took my order. Although restrictions are lifted most everywhere, this dining room is still closed. UPDATE: I love buttermilk biscuits with my meal. Got home after 15 minutes, and what do you think is missing…. the biscuits! That’s because there were 10 people working the drive-thru, and one the desk was one girl that started working there last week. Don’t try to call on the phone, I’m sure the phone’s off the hook. NO voice-mail.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I ordered a 5 piece tender i get home and open my box to a dried breaded mess! No edible chicken! Not one tender. Then when you try and call the number its someones cell phone with no voice mail. Plz don’t waste your time or money here.

I went inside to order a shrimp tackle box and was told they have no more shrimp. I returned inside to find they did have shrimp, while it was being pulled from the warming tray. As per a previous customer saying that it was the second time, this particular Popeyes did not have the item; I can truly say the workers there are truly a bunch of liars!l I had to repeat my oder five times, I can see why this location is SLOW. My adive is not to drive to the drive through or go inside, I suggest drive right on by and don’t waste your time!!

Great food but the customer bathroom need cleaning with a scented sanitizer and please do away with that atrocious heavy chain key. Its unsanitary and unpleasant for customers to be handling to open the bathroom for use.
