First time coming here. They are a pet friendly restaurant with outdoor seating for you and your dog. I ordered off the menu, one of the chef special items and I honestly have to say is the best meal I’ve ever eaten. I don’t even know what it was called but the waitress described it so deliciously that I had to try it and it was outstanding. It was a perfectly medium cooked steak with mushrooms, shrimp, crawfish, and other things in this delicious creamy sauce with a loaded mashed potatoes. Even now thinking about it my mouth is watering. The dessert was the bread pudding, that was amazing! And a coconut margarita as my beverage. This place deserves 100 stars not only 5. Highly highly recommend this place. The waitress was super nice and friendly it was an excellent dining experience.

Good food, service was good, but I noticed the fan above where we sat had dust that noticeably kept peppering us with dust as we ate. At the last second I noticed a hair hanging off the plate as we were leaving though. Took a picture, but it’s hard to tell from the photo. Could be melted cheese, but it looked like a brown strand of hair.

We made Valentine’s reservations and still had to wait about 45 minutes for a table. It was a terrible cluster! So many people came in behind us and got seated first! We finally got seated and ordered. Probably 20 minutes after ordering the waitress came and said they didn’t have one of our entrees so my husband had to choose something else. Then most tables around us who had been there for less time had gotten their food. As we waited, we noted the table next to us sat for over 10 minutes without knives to cut their steaks, another table was complaining their ticket was wrong, another table got up and left before their food even came because they got so frustrated… Our food finally came, THEN we found out they were out of one of the desserts we ordered. She came back again and said they were out of the second choice that my husband had given her. It was a huge mess and we were there in total about 3 1/2 hours, which was ridiculous. I will say our waitress was great and the food we did get was good. She also gave us a discount since everything was such a disaster. We typically enjoy coming here, but they really dropped the ball for those who had Valentine’s Day reservations this year.

VERY COOL PLACE stopped in for our 1st visit and very glad we did!!!! Had the shepherds pie filled with AWESOME boursin mashed potatoes…perfection in a bowl…also had a double burger made with REAL MEAT not some frozen pre-made patty!!! Fries were on point also..very attentive waitstaff. We’ll definitely return just made our 2nd trip in had bangers n mash….awesome mash and conecuh sausage..gravy is top notch. . .shepherds pie did not disappoint either huge beef chunks and great flavor!!!

This place has everthing, great food, great service. We love that they have I’m of the dishes from Nola’s on 2nd. The Pontchartrain sauce is by far my favorite. But the blackened mahi over mashed potatoes with the house salad is a very close second I would highly recommend eating their.

My family and I ate here tonight for Mother’s Day weekend. They had awesome specials. We ordered blackened grouper, steak, pasta with shrimp & scallops and a smokey chicken sandwich with bacon.

Awesome brunch today!!! We were going to go to an out-of-town restaurant but decided to keep it local and so glad we did! It was a beautiful morning, nice and cool, and the staff propped open the doors letting in a cool outdoor breeze! It was a great idea! I had the chicken and waffles, and that was the best waffle I’ve ever eaten! Putting the candied jalapeños on them was a great touch! My chicken was fried perfectly and the bacon was cooked just right. Not too crispy! I highly recommend the tater tot casserole!!! It was incredible! The rest of my group all enjoyed their meals very much! Such a good choice today! Thanks so much! We’ll be back

First time there in April for birthday meal, best Reuben this side of the Mississippi and the salad with strawberries, chevre, red onions and candied nuts was sublime. Sweet potato fries were only as good as they were hot. Great pour on a pint of Guinness.
Went back yesterday Reuben still great but as we learned first time when we split sandwich, meat was mainly on one side so we fixed that right away. Ordered Reuben spring rolls to compare to sandwich, really good but very greasy, took home to cook more thoroughly. Also reordered the salad, however this time there were hardly any strawberries, they were replaced with unripe cherry tomatoes which was a bummer, too tart There were no red onions, maybe one (?) thinly sliced strawberry and hardly any chevre or nuts. I didn’t realize that til I was eating the leftovers at home and reread the menu. BTW dressing is great, kinda hid the lack of previous salad quality. We should have noticed the diff while there, but the Reuben and onion rings were so distracting in their excellentness. Yeah the onion strings are to die for.
So upshot, will go again but will make sure items received are as described on menu and up to quality of first trip. We tipped 25% because that server, same as first trip was kind, and really knows how to pull a great pint of Guinness. And that Reuben, not one bit of soggy bread, great corned beef, and balance of kraut, cheese and dressing, yum!

The definitive pub experience! From the large, old entrance to the big windows, this is it. We sat in the front area and whetted our appetites with servers passing us with plates piled with corn beef and sweet potato fries! Everything looked fantastic! Christian, our waiter, was personable and knowledgeable. Steady drink refills and table checks, the first was served fresh, hot and filling. I ordered the Reuben and a side salad, both were well prepared and the portion sizes were generous. The Shepherd’s Fries were delicious too! Highly recommended.
