This was our first time here and I really wanted to try it.
We were seated and the waitress asked us what we wanted to drink.
I speak perfect spanish but my wife and daughter not 100% and once the waitress noticed this she gave us attitude and had a face on the entire time.
I translated for them and was friendly but the waitress made my wife and daughter feel self conscious about their spanish.
We got through it and ordered our drinks which tasted water down.
She came back with the same face and we tried to order our food.
No chips and salsa for the table.
We got to order our food and I could’ve believe no other meat other than asada for tacos.
We ordered what they had from their limited menu and ask for 3 sides of rice and beans and again we were disappointed when the waitress said they don’t even offer rice. WHAT!!!!!
What Mexican restaurant doesn’t have rice or any other meat for tacos I was so confused.
The only time I saw the waitress smile was when we told her to cancel our food order and we just paid for our water down drinks and got out of there asap.
If you don’t speak spanish fluently I don’t recommend this place.
There’s taqueria El Faro, or Tequeria El Cokito which we go to all the time and they are wonderful.
We wanted to try a new place but we’re sticking to what’s good, hope this helps. Very disappointed in this place.

This place is crowded but definitely worth the wait food was amazing loved the rajas con queso gorditas their salsas are spicy I loved them 10/10 because their food there is parking in front of this location and a free parking garage close by so no issues with parking the staff was very friendly definitely busy place but their food is worth the wait hand and freshly made tortillas and gorditas took 20 min for our order but again it was worth it and it was a sunday morning! Good job staff!

My friend and I placed an order for pick up and when I got there we changed our minds and decided we weregoing to eat there since it was very cold. They only has three tables busy so my friend and I asked them if we could eat there and they said no. They stated that the customers eating there before us was their priority. Our food was already made and ready to go and the other tables were already done. Honestly the girl was very rude and talking to us like if we were kids in some kind of trouble. We only had 45 minutes to eat since it was during our lunch break. Very unpleasant experience!

The service is fine but the food isn’t I used to love this place but it has gone downhill very bad. I ordered a few Gordita’s today and it barely had any filling in it. They were so thin with the fillings inside as well. Definitely won’t be coming back anymore and don’t recommend spending any money here. Yes their cheap but I wouldn’t mind if they raise their prices a little to make at least some decent gorditas.

My husband and I always go here we love their food but the last time we went we had suck a bad experience we wont be coming back for a while. After we got our drinks we just keep seen people that got there after us getting their food first, the server never checked on us and after an hour of waiting we decided to just leave, It was ridiculous the amount of tables they served before us . We appreciated that at least the guy idk if he’s the manager went outside to apologize and offered us to dine in again with no charge. They need to get more servers to be more attentive , 2 is not going to cut it for a busy Sunday .

We absolutely loved this place! They have a limited menu, but it was delicious. We had 4 steak tacos, two steak quesadillas, and two gorditas. The tacos were so delicious, and the quesadillas were so crunchy and not at all greasy. My bf loved the Horchata so much that he got a second glass. Highly recommend anyone trying this restaurant.

I pass this place EVERY day on my way home. Today was the day I decided to give it a try. The ambiance was super chill. This would be the perfect date scene without breaking the bank. The food was FANTASTIC! The service was delightful. You know it’s authentic when one waitress has to get the other for an English order!

Great gorditas! If you know how gorditas are made you’ll know that a lot of oil is used but at Don Angels Gorditas they’re don’t super oily. I also shared a burrito with my husband that was sooo good. The place was clean and had some music in the background that my baby vibed to. If you have small babies or kids, the menu is limited, my 9 month old had some potatoes without the cheese and loved it!

We LOVE Don Angels!!! The weekends are crazy packed so we like to go during the week. My fav is the tacos pirata de chicharron prensado. My boys like their taco pirata de asada. They have so many great options to choose from.

Waited over 30 minutes for our order and after inquiring with the waitress she looked puzzled as to what was going on. Spoke with the cashier who seemed to be someone in charge and he said “something happened back there” needless to say we paid for our drinks and left without our food. Place was probably 40% full if that so there’s no excuse for forgetting to put our orders in.
