The food was good.
I had mashed potatoes with the brown gravy and fried chicken, coleslaw, cottage cheese, and cream corn.0
Good and tasty
I also had a salad with lettuce, cucumber, shredded cheese, shredded carrots, black olives, with a ranch dressing, potato salad and macaroni salad.
I didn’t like the lettuce as it was not fresh (browning).
Otherwise the food was good.
This time the coleslaw and cottage cheese were good. Usually it’s one or the other that is good while the other tastes bad.
For dessert I had some Bundt cake, a mini chocolate cupcake and vanilla pudding.
The waitress was sweet.

Servers are a little bit slow getting your stuff to you.
The catfish and chicken is pretty good.
Heard them say when they ran out of chicken and it takes 20 minutes to get it back on the bar.

It was pretty crowded, but the staff made it a great experience. Our server was very attentive to all our needs and requests. Excellent service all around! The only downside was the music and the food, which lacked flavor, which is why I’m giving it 2 stars

Five stars for the service. The young lady that served the birthday dinner for 10 and sang happy birthday tonight was great. I didn’t get her name but she definitely should be recognized. She was genuinely kind and kept up with everyone in our party, awesome job. Thank you!!!

I hate writing this because I used to love this place. I was here today at 4pm and got the buffet. Worst I have ever experienced. Everything is dried out. The beef n cabbage soup is my favorite but god today it looked like it had been sitting on the bar for three days, all the soups did. I ate the fish which was good and the hamburger steamed are ok but the gravy has a slight bitter flavor. Not happy today. The bar definitely was not rotated out. The chilli tasted like it had been sitting for hours.

Only employee’s doing their jobs were the male cashier and lady filling the salad bar. Other two young girls standing in back talking. I stood up to get their attention and they didn’t even act like I was even there. Was never waited on. Ignored by all who were there. I was only one there to dine so it wasn’t they were busy.Will not go back. These young people need to realize a job has responsibilities not just show up and collect a pay check!! Need better management for sure!!

Just so you know you can also get the buffet Togo.
The service has always been fantastic and very friendly. I would definitely recommend the Sunday all day brunch where you can get all the most delicious breakfast items all day long. If you don’t come on Sunday you can still get a great dinner or lunch any day of the week.

Just good old country cooking and plenty of fit! We went down for Thanksgiving dinner. It was great and much more than we expected! Shoneys in Morristown is very good and well worth the price!!!!!!

Buffet for three people with military discounts…..over 57.00. NOT a fifty dollar buffet!! Day after we are all sick as heck!!!! Do not recommend. Food was dried out. Apparently not keeping up with food temperature and health concerns.
