What truly stood out was the careful attention to detail and authenticity in every plate. The use of traditional Peruvian ingredients and spices was evident, creating an unforgettable dining experience. Moreover, the restaurant managed to strike a remarkable balance between quality and affordability. The prices were reasonable and aligned well with the portion sizes and the high quality of the food.
The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, featuring vibrant Peruvian decor that transported you to the heart of Peru itself. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and more than willing to provide recommendations based on individual preferences.
All in all, I can confidently say that this Peruvian restaurant offers an exceptional culinary journey at prices that truly reflect the value you receive. Whether you’re a seasoned Peruvian cuisine enthusiast or a first-timer, this restaurant is a definite must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and delightful dining experience.
We were the only guests there, which made us kinda nervous. We weren’t sure if that was a bad sign or not. We briefly considered leaving, but the guy that sat us was really nice and we decided we’d stay.
That was a fortunate decision because the food here is GREAT. It also filled up after we started eating.
My wife ordered the lomo saltado, as she typically does at every Peruvian place we’ve been. She said it was the best she’s ever had.
I ordered the Tallarines Verdes Con Pollo. It was a first for me, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Delicious flavor. Would definitely order it again in the future.
Seriously good food and very kind service.
The only part I didn’t love was the price. It’s kinda high. But other than that, this place is a must-visit.
Authentic food
Authentic atmosphere
Seated quickly at 5pm
About 25 mins to get our food
The Bad:
It was really strange that they gave the Americans one menu, and a separate “menu especial” to the Latinos.
After we got our food the server never once came to our table to check and see how we’re doing or offer refills on our drinks.
The passion fruit juice was just a powder mix, it was not real juice and they charged $4 per cup and no free refills.
The owner was obsessed with trying to sell illegal raffle tickets to all the visitors that night claiming to give away a free car parked outside.
It’s a very small restaurant and starting around 7 at night they turn the center of the restaurant into a dance floor severely limiting tablespace and play very loud music the rest of the night. It’s so loud you cannot hear anybody else at your table.
Normally Peruvian restaurants give you canchita to snack on while you are waiting for your food but they did not.
$93 for 2 main dishes, 1 appetizer, 1 jar of passion fruit powder drink and 1 small dessert.
I ordered 5 plates, 4 of the plates Tallarines verdes. 1 plate bistec a lo pobre.
The steak was over done and super hard to chew. On top of that we all had to share a small cup of sauce. I have been to a few other Peruvian restaurants and this wasn’t a great experience.
