When you didn’t make it to the original resi and plan B pulls through! Came through BND on a whim and had a TIME! Grabbed bar seats, it was still brunch so we started with drinks and small bites from the brunch menu! We had a little bit of everything ! Wings, espressos, daiquiris, long islands,crab deviledeggs, burgers. Even got happy hour food to go. Prices were really reasonable. HH at BND is definitely added to the list

First and foremost, I went for Sunday brunch and if you don’t like super loud music then this isn’t for you. I personally loved it although you can’t have much conversation with people (it’s that kind of loud). However, the music is great and widely varied — there was a mix with music for all ages. Not only is this place a whole vibe — the food is phenomenally delicious. The drinks were equally great! I can’t wait to come back!

The staff and the patronage is so friendly and fun! The service and drinks are great and the staff is so kind and lively! I was there for my first teacher appreciation happy hour as a new teacher and all of the teacher were so chill. There was also a BHm trivia. I’m Looking forward to one do their next events.

Ben’s Next Door never disappoints! From the moment we walked in, the energy was welcoming and vibrant. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and worth every bite.
What truly made the experience stand out was the service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. A special thank you to the manager, Winter, who was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. You can tell she takes pride in making sure guests have a great experience. And my server, Taja, was amazing! She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and checked on us just the right amount to make sure we were taken care of without feeling rushed.

Great service. Made reservations for Mother’s Day. Walked in with seated promptly. Party of two had to sit at a high top It was pretty busy however our service was very consistent .
We went in during the brunch hours however we ordered wings and breakfast potatoes. The wings were delicious. The Mambo sauce was very sweet and tangy We also enjoyed the breakfast potatoes that were cooked lightly very delicious .
One drink was a lemon drop a flavor with strawberry and the other drink was a mocktail that was very delicious. They had a very vast venue several items to choose from.
The ambiance was calm they had music playing in the background it was a vibe, very chill. Clean restaurant food was delicious.

Super chill bar, extensive cocktail menu as well as drink options. Didn’t eat here, just came for drinks on their patio before catching my plane. Nice atmosphere.

Came to BND to for a brunch with my girlfriend and we had a great time! Dre was our server, he was really nice to us in letting us move our seat twice haha.
We ordered the Black Excellence Chicken + Waffles since I’ve heard so much about it, as well as tried their Flash Fried Calamari. These were amazing, they come with marinara sauce and what I thought was cocktail sauce but it was a bit sweet but so, so delicious we wanted to order another set to eat with that sweet sauce, 10/10 they need to have it with all calamari everywhere.
The music was really good as well. Winter (the manager that day) set the RnB vibes which was nice, my gf really enjoyed her curated playlist. It is loud, but I think it adds to the lively and club vibe, so if you’re looking for a chill, hungover brunch, this probably isn’t the spot for that.
BND is right by the Metro as well so we could really enjoy the bottomless mimosas and not have to worry about how we’re getting home.

As a patron of this establishment, i found that it was very welcoming, chill, and enjoyed my food and drinks with no issues to the wait or service. In all honestly, ive been here before but have never really considered writing a review despite enjoying myself every time. My food came out hot, and i felt like the staff were really attentive and would approach if it looked like i needed anything. The music and vibes here are probably the best of any restaurant on U St and Sam behind the bar is top notch. It goes without saying I’ll def be coming back again.

This was my first visit with my bf for valentines. We did a brunch and the service was a 10/10, from the host to the server. Our server Simone was excellent and efficient. The unlimited mimosas($30 per person btw) were great but they don’t do share pitchers of it w/ a couple or for a group. Which I didn’t like but oh well. Chicken waffles were 10/10, we didn’t have to wait long for the food or the drinks !! The music options were 9/10!! I would come back again.
