The espresso is consistently excellent—rich, smooth, and never bitter. Whether you’re a fan of a classic latte or one of their more creative ‘Masterpiece’ specialty drinks, the baristas clearly know their craft. The space itself is modern and vibrant, making it a perfect spot to catch up with a friend or settle in with a laptop.
Inclusivity & Community:
What I appreciate most, however, is the atmosphere of genuine inclusivity. It is refreshing to support a business that is so clearly LGBTQ+ friendly. You can feel the welcoming energy the moment you walk in; it’s a safe, “come-as-you-are” space that feels like a true part of the community.
Pet Friendly:
As a dog owner, finding a truly dog-friendly spot on the Streets of St. Charles is a huge plus. The staff is always welcoming to four-legged friends, making it my favorite destination to walk to on a weekend morning.
Whether you’re a local or just visiting the area, Picasso’s on Beale is a must-visit. Great coffee, even better people, and a vibe that makes everyone feel at home. Five stars!

Stopped in for coffee on the go as I was looking forward to trying this place. I paid $17.97 for a medium caramel iced latte, small hot mocha and a cookie. This price seemed high for what I ordered. Then I waited nearly 30 minutes for two drinks to be made. Many people were dining in. One lady even noticed me standing so long, I watch her finish an entire bagel. Looking over she said to me “seems like a long wait”. After over twenty minutes I asked the barista the status of my order. They said they are working on it and had a lot of orders coming in. All the orders I watch them make, probably 7+ lattes were dining in. I recommend creating a plan to prioritize to-go beverages, when there are several baristas working. Not to mention people dining in plan to sit and stay awhile anyways. After getting my drinks 30 minutes later, I was not impressed, the mocha was bland and bitter and the iced caramel latte was nothing special. Will not be back and do not recommend to anyone wanting to grab a quick drink.

Firstly, the coffee here is always fantastic hot or cold. It is a must stop in St.Charles!
Next, the food is pretty good I think it could be better and is a little pricey, but still good. The side of fruit is a nice touch. I will say, in a previous visit I was pretty upset that the Lox bagel I had ordered came out disassembled. I paid 9 bucks for it, and when I go out for food I expect it to be ready to eat. I did not expect to have to spread the cream cheese and put it together myself. Today when I went in, I felt a little needy when I asked if they could put it together for me. But in reality, I am paying money for food made by someone else. Not just for the ingredients. I feel like it’s weird that it normally comes disassembled. I think they should definitely change that, so I don’t have to ask.
Love the employees, the atmosphere, the coffee! It is a wonderful place to stop in at. I just wish it was closer.

Absolutely loved this coffee shop! I had a latte and went back the next day to grab another on my way out of town. It is a little more on the acidic side of roasting though. The staff was fabulous! Food looked good but didn’t purchase. Would highly recommend.

We were just passing thru St. Charles and find Picasso’s. My breakfast sandwich was outstanding. Soft cabiatta roll. You could tell that the locals frequented this place. The owners were very attentive and welcoming.

We’ll definitely be back! Great food, drink, service, and atmosphere. We sat in their outdoor seating to enjoy the morning weather. I ordered my usual soymilk cortado, which they served very nicely with espresso treatment (with sparkling water and a few espresso beans). It was very good! My husband really enjoyed his latte and grilled croissant. (He used to live in Paris and has very high standards for croissants.)

Amazing cozy coffee shop. The artwork inside was aesthetically appealing and interesting. I really liked the table they had a picasso style artwork added to it. They have great seating areas where you can sit in front of a warm fire! All staff members are friendly and are happy to help. There coffee is rich and doesn’t taste burnt at all, unlike many other coffee shops in the area. We also got the Aztec mocha coffee, it was delicious! We also picked up the to go hummus platter and it was very yummy and healthy. If we are ever in St Louis, Missouri again we definitely will be going back!

Very bad experience lately. Used to be good with great services and good food. Recently visited and one new female employee mistreated me and my party. She made a look when I asked for decaf option, like she was annoyed to make a decaf for one customer and I specifically told her that we will eat at the cafe and she came out with all to-go container and plastic spoon. What is the purpose of having tip option if you are going to treat customer like this? Was trying to get it changed to in store option with actual plate and silverware, she refused and manager did not do anything. I used to come here for quick coffee or brunch option regularly. Just very disappointing. Odd thing was everyone else that were dining inside were given their food/drink as in dining option and we were only ppl with Togo box. Kinda odd thing?
