This is a favorite go-to spot with the family! My kids are their biggest fans too – not only for the fountain play while we sit outside in their patio area, but they LOVE their calamari! The call it “the calamari shop”. We have tried fried calamari all over, and Tufano’s has the best in Chicago, even better than spots in Europe and even Greece. They also have a big back room for events that is great for up to 30 or so people, and very affordable. Great seafood salads, pastas, and the sausage and peppers. Wine list is also great and very reasonably priced! Highly recommend!

This is a place that we did not research before coming to visit Chicago. But, happened upon it during our travel. It was our favorite meal of the trip, and we ate there twice! They have valet parking out front if you like, but we easily found street parking in that area as well. The pasta was amazing as were the mussels! I will definitely plan to eat here again during my next trip.

This place was sooo yummy. I actually loved this place so much. The fettuccine Alfredo was so good paired with the bread they gave you. I’m so mad that I haven’t gone here again. To be fair if I could I’d be eating here all the time. Everything about this place was a 10/10. I had the best time with my friends as well best place to have a nice calm dinner.

Tufano’s is a great family restaurant! The food was all delicious and came in generous portions. The restaurant itself is historic and in a good spot on the edge of Little Italy.

I got the farfalle with sausage and peas in a tomato cream sauce. It was delicious with a large serving size! I got 3 meals out of it. They were out of many gelato flavors which was a disappointment, but service was friendly and quick. I also had the stuffed artichoke appetizer. I found that the stuffing was only in one section of the artichoke instead of stuffed throughout like I was used to at other restaurants. I found it harder to eat than I would’ve liked. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d like to try other dishes in the future!

Absolutely delicious! I have had Tufanos before for carry out but this was my first time dinning in. We came here for a date night. The food service and drinks were fantastic. I had the Moscato, Auntie Jo’s Farfalle, homemade bread, and chicken vegetable soup. The pasta was one of my favorite pastas I’ve had! The bread was warm and fresh. Our server was phenomenal and super friendly. We are definitely coming here again

I brought 10 people there on a Tuesday night during a convention. No one else had been there before. Joey went out of his way to be able to see this during a fairly busy Blackhawks crowd night. Everything we had was phenomenal. The waitress was outstanding. She recommended so much food because we weren’t sure what we wanted. We ended up sharing a lot. The wine was fantastic. And the prices were shockingly low for chicago. The other nine people said they would definitely be back when they came back into chicago.

I’ve been here a couple times and I have enjoyed my meals every time, had attentive and nice staff, and no cash is never a problem with an ATM on-site. Both the outside patio and indoor dining experience are wonderful. The chicken picante with pine nuts is by far my favorite so definitely recommend! I love bread and butter and you get it at no extra cost upon seating. I wish they had more non-alcoholic and non soda beverages besides tea and coffee but the food is good. Only item I’ve not loved is the bruschetta because it had a strong tomato taste over the rest of the ingredients in it.
Update: No longer have an ATM
