Our group of 19 went in around 7:45 this evening (Saturday) for ice cream. They don’t close until 10:00 but half the dining room was already shut down. We were told they were understaffed so we could not use those tables. We even offered to put the chairs back up on the tables when we were done but the manager said that was not an option. We asked for a refund and went to the Port Orange location which is a lot newer, cleaner and has much friendlier staff.
One would think if they had the staff to make the ice cream, they would be able to clean a few tables before they closed at 10:00.

A DQ is a DQ, or is it? While we can expect the Ane menu and food quality coast to coast, exceptional service is always appreciated and warrants a review comment. From the elderly gentlemen who greeted us upon entry, to the friendly counter attendant Linda, to the Manager Jeff, they all made us feel exceptionally welcome. It is rare, I do not do a drive through, I am happy I stopped.

It’s Dairy Queen Soft Serve Ice Cream The food is Fresh and Delicious! The People are Wonderful!!! I have eaten at many Dairy Queens. This Brazier is the BEST! The Manager, Jeff is One Outstanding Leader. Even with staff shortages and a long line of patrons waiting to order, Jeff remained Calm, Positive and Productive. I Highly Recommend this Location! I ordered the 6 chicken strip combo meal, over $11…I got 6 pieces of chicken, but the French fries were larger than a most of the pieces…and 2 of the pieces were way darker, like they’d been dropped a second time to heat up to fill my order…see attached photo.
I couldn’t believe it when I opened the box. I went up to the counter & showed the manager (am so glad I wasn’t drive-thru and opening it when I got home, because the location was sure willing to consider that my meal)! The manager said he’d “cook a couple pieces “…they came out several minutes later, super crunchy & dry…kinda dark on the coating, like maybe they were cooked, forgotten & dropped back in Fryer for 30 seconds to heat up or something…

Very disappointed for a meal over $11. I emailed Dairy Queen that afternoon, no response….so posting here as a public review!

I got the chicken strip basket and a hot Oreo cocoa blizzard.
The food was very fresh tasty fries and the tenders looked like real chicken!
Service was also nice and very pleasant.!

I was in Friday night, early evening and even though they were very busy with drive-thru and counter they still made me feel important and it was good hot food and delicious hot fudge sundae… great bargain at $7 plus tax. Thanks, I’ll be back.

Had to stop in and grab a blizzard to bring back that nostalgic feeling from when I was younger. The girl even flipped it upside down for me to see that it stuck. Lol. Nice spot to grab some ice-cream on a hot day and it was super hot outside today by the way

I ordered the number 11 the easiest and smallest meal there, but the two workers took 30 minutes to get it to me because they were too busy talking about how “she cant move in with her 29 year old boyfriend because she’s only 17 and he’ll pay all the bills so she won’t have to work anymore” but you had a young gentleman that helped me when I could finally get someone’s attention
