This past week me and my family came to enjoy some pizza. As native New Yorkers we know a thing or two about good pizza so we decided to try. Let’s start with the service. Before coming I noticed that indoor seating was limited so I proceeded to make a reservation. We were a couple mins late for the reservation, but no worries there is a grace period. As we arrived, I was glad I reserved a table, however, when the hostess walked us to our table before we could even sit down she told us that we would have to leave by 6pm because another group was coming. This was totally DISTASTEFUL and NOT a good first impression. She could have at least waited for us to sit down and get our food first or let us know when we had 30 mins remaining. We left around 5:30pm anyways so it was very unnecessary. Not to mention our server gave us the check before we even asked for it. I understand that with limited seating and a 90 min limit they want to get folks in and out, BUT there is a more inviting, professional and pleasant way to do this. Lastly, the pizza was tasty, but it was very flimsy and the bottom could not support the weight of the toppings. I prefer my pizza to have a sturdier bottom. The best was the sausage and peppers, margherita and our least favorite was the pesto.

First off the pizza is very good, we come here often and it is consistently very good wood-fired pizza.
With that we ordered the beet salad for takeout and was very disappointed with how weak the portion was. It’s salad and costs nothing to make. Seems like a silly way to cut corners. I’ll be back but will never order the salad.

I have been to Franky’s at least a dozen times. The reason I’m finally getting around to writing a review is because I was treated with incredible kindness and accommodation after I mistakenly made a reservation for one day, and showed up a day early. The team could not have been nicer, and they were able to find a table for us without too much waiting time. Every time I’ve been, the service has always been absolutely incredible. This time just pushed it over the edge. The food is always unbelievable when I go; their arugula salad is easily the best salad I’ve ever had, and same goes for the pizza. I am gluten free, and I have yet to find a gluten free pizza half as good as theirs. Their flourless brownie is also second to none. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and cozy. It might not seem like a large space on the inside, but I think the quality heavily outweighs the quantity. During the winter season, their inside serves as a nice escape from the cold, and in the warmer parts of the year, their outdoor seating is spacious and inviting. I simply cannot give this restaurant enough praise. It’s one of my go-to dinner spots.

This pizza place never disappoints. The crust has the perfect balance of crunch and chew, the sauce is flavorful without being overpowering, and the toppings are always fresh and generously portioned. Orders are ready on time and served hot. The staff is welcoming and efficient, creating a great overall experience. It’s the kind of spot you keep coming back to when you want truly satisfying pizza.

We had a lovely date night!
Forgot to take photos of all the food but did get to take a photo of what was left of the delic pizza!
The burrta and foraccia bread is on point. All the staff were amazing (thank you Kyle!) and the pizza is divine!

I am lactose intolerant so got the Porky Marge with pepperoni and vegan cheese. Usually vegan cheese isn’t great but they knocked it out of the ballpark! The taste and texture of the vegan cheese was divine. I asked my sister how she liked her Sausage & Peppers pizza and she said “there definitely won’t be any leftovers!”. Highly recommend this place for takeout! I’m from NYC/CT and it surpasses pizza I’ve had there. 10/10

5 stars for 5 reasons
Made reservation around morning time and came in when they opened at 4:30pm.
1. The hotmess pizza was really good! Bits of bacon and the carmalized onions. A bit sweet but that is why I also got a meatball pizza which is savory. Big pieces of meatball.
The crust was super chewy which I like. Pizza is not oily at all or greasy which I like. Only olive oil is used
Salad is super good!
2. Customer service is quite nice and everyone there is very friendly.
3. Price is very good for good quality pizza.
16-18 dollars for a pie which is not bad.
4. Quantity is ok but one pie will fill you up! They do not skimp on the toppings!
5. Menu is easy navigate and not overwhelming at all.
Bathroom clean, nice cozy place and a good selection of drinks alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.

A great pizza restaurant. Amazing service and staff. Having lived in Italy and being half Italian , I can say that the pizzas are simple and fresh , how I believe it should be. It’s definitely a breath of fresh air from all the chemically processed and cheese / bombarded places. Definitely recommended.

Haven’t found good pizza in the area until we tried this place! Wow very good. I grew up with (the original) Frank Pepe, Modern, and Sallys in CT and even though this doesn’t quite reach the level as those places for this area this is a gem. We ordered a classic margherita pizza and a mushroom. Crust on bottom could have had a hair more crunch but they were both delicious.
