My family and I absolutely love coming to Sylvias, so much so that we’re basically there every Friday night together. Always the same servers, and each employee is very friendly and quick with service! I like to get their salads and my usual server always hooks me up with a bunch of their to go ranch, it’s delish!

I’ve been going here since before Tupac passed and I love their breakfast. The AJ’s omelet and the jumbo dumbo are my go to. Big servings and great service. I wish they would update the place, but I’m sure that would cost a lot. Either way, for breakfast, you can’t go wrong. I’ve never had anything else but breakfast here.

We’re addicted to Sylvia’s breakfast! We love all the giant omelettes and the crazy massive pancakes. The hash browns are always perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside – just as they’re supposed to be. The iced tea is always fresh – it tastes like they keep the containers clean (surprising how many places don’t!). Make sure to say you want your bacon crispy, and it’ll come out perfect every time. The biscuits and gravy and the Texas french toast are good too!

The only two things that really isn’t good here is the hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict, and the chicken fried steak (so I was told by one of my party) The hollandaise really isn’t good at all – either not made in-house, or something isn’t right with the receipt.

The interior could use an upgrade – it looks like it’s probably still the same since they opened the place several decades ago, but it does feel like a down home breakfast diner. However the prices vs quantity are very very reasonable, so maybe this keeps them from being able to put money into an upgrade.

The staff is always friendly and super helpful. We keep bringing friends and family there for breakfast for their first time and each time they walk away loving it!

This is a really nice place to stop for breakfast. They have quite an extensive menu and if you like eggs benedict they have several different styles. I will definitely eat her again when I’m in town.

I really do like this place. We don’t come often, but have visited for years. Sat quickly, offered drinks right away, food was good, & portions are overwhelming (in a good way)!! I had the country fried steak with eggs/hash browns/ biscuits & my friend ordered the club sandwich with fries. Both of our plates were more than enough food for TWO significant portions each, so you definitely get your money’s worth. We paid ~$46 (tip included) for the two meals + coffee.

1/7/2023- Visited today with two close friends! ~$60 for the three of us. Not busy at all 8:20 on a Sat morning. For some, $20/person may seem like a bit for a breakfast place, but each of us got like 2 meals out of each of our plates! I loved my Debb’s omelette! Additionally, we only meet up for Girls Time about once a month, but haven’t dined-out in over a year for breakfast, so we ended up being there for almost 4 hours! Time just flew by & we felt bad once the place got busy, but they were so sweet & hospitable to us the whole time!! I appreciate them for it because we don’t get out much!

The food was terrible. Soup from a can, french toast made without egg if that’s even possible, burnt coffee and rotting fruit. The servers were adequate and the restrooms clean, but the quality of the food and the price earn this place one star.

Went to Sylvia’s for the first time to have breakfast for Father’s day and it was really good! Great place to go for breakfast and lunch. They serve big portions and everything is delicious. I got the lumberjack plate. It comes with two eggs, four bacon, country potatoes(extra charge) and four pancakes! I will definitely come back again to eat at Sylvia’s.

Since when do they ask certain people if they are leaving a tip, and asking if they want the receipt. Walking into the restaurant, we were ignored by the same person that asked those questions. We will be making sure nothing extra came out of the payment being that tip was in cash
