Social Profile:

On the corner of 5th and Cherry Street in downtown Winston-Salem, we started out in 2014 as a nanobrewery obsessed with making (and drinking) really unique beer. Over five years later, we’ve evolved into so much more. Now a brewery, bar and a full restaurant. Our mission is simple: provide the most ultimate, indulgent food and drinks that tempt your carefree side to ‘just go for it.’ Whether you’re craving a hoppy IPA or a refreshing pilsner, you can choose from one of our hand-crafted beers, brewed in-house daily. If you’re in more of a spirited mood, we offer a full seasonal cocktail menu. As far as food, we’ve got it all. Irresistible snacks, creative burgers and sandwiches.

A menu of craft burgers, sandwiches & more in a neighborhood brewpub offering beer, cocktails & wine.

1st Time at the Small Batch. The server was good, kind, and hospitable. We did not wait to be seated a table or bar area was available. The drinks were great, and the food was served fresh and hot. If you’re looking for a small bar with good food and drinks, check this place out!

Small batch is hands down the best place in Winston-Salem to get a burger and a craft beer.

I’ve lived in Winston for 2+ years, unfortunately, I’ve only known about them for little over a year. They are the most consistent brewery in town, they don’t usually have sours on the menu, but they do offer a Gose, a Ginger Seltzer, blackberry blonde, as well as a house made cocktail menu.

The bartending staff is exceptional! They are knowledgeable about their food and tap offerings and are able to suggest pairings and other combinations you may not have thought of yourself.

10/10 recommend trying small batch at least once, if not 1000 times after that.

Soccer games across the globe are streamed often and usually available on request, along with College FB on saturdays; so the environment is very welcoming for international sports fans throughout the year.

Tuesday is pint night where you get a pint glass per 2 pints drank per person, Wednesday is trivia, Thursday half price pours ($3 16oz craft beers) and my favorite by far is Friday Karaoke!

Also: Met Rick Flair here. It was cool lol. That said, sometimes they can busy if there are conventions in town since they are close to the convention center, but even with a wait they’re always worth it!

Really cool spot. Right off the bat we could tell that the staff was exceptional since they welcomed us and everyone that walked through the door right away. I got the smokey burger which was delicious and quit filling. Also tried their Oktoberfest beer, which was also quite good. Again the staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely a great place to relax with friends and enjoy a great meal.

We had a great time. We were staying downtown so we walked down to try the beer. The food looked good but we just had drinks. Lots of drink choices! They have draft towers, buckets of beer, any kind of liquor you could want. They have boozy milkshakes that looked really good. Food and drink Daily specials. Thursday is $3 drafts. We had fun with the servers and Joe Joe was great! The lemon man IPA was my favorite!

Came here back in November and forgot to review. We come to this place every year when we’re in town. The location is great and within walking distance from the hotel and the convention center.
I’ll start off by saying the bartenders and staff are always nice, knowledgeable and always give good service! I will give a shoutout to Dora. She was pretty good!
We ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with tots and the “Best Brussels” with sweet potato fries! Both dishes were very tasty and were great portion sizes. I did not leave here hungry.
They also have a good selection of beers. This place has always been clean and always had good company. Depending on the time of day it can get pretty packed in there. But still I’ve never had bad service no matter what time it was!
I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We’ve been here many times and the food has always been great. It was good tonight. It took us 15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us at the bar.

I asked for extras twice and only got it one time but got charged two times.

The only time the bartender was attentive is when it was time to check out.

I finally made it to Small Batch after having it on my list for quite awhile now. I arrived around 5pm on a Sunday so it was not busy or crowded at all. They have a mixture of normal tables, bar seating/high tops, and some long/narrow community seats which is where I sat.

The bartender came over and gave me a menu and some water immediately. I took a few minutes to check out the options and decided on starting with fried dumplings, which were new according to the menu. I know their specialty is burgers so I of course got one of those too. I was really tempted to get the fat mac with bacon (and stuffed between grilled cheese buns) but I went with the smoke batch instead because I wanted some pork belly.

The food came out without too long of a wait. The dumplings were okay, fried nice and crispy but not super flavorful on their own. The dipping sauces helped. The burger was cooked medium, as the menu had stated, and had a good amount of pork belly and bbq. It was a decent meal overall in an unassuming spot right in the middle of downtown Winston. I would go back to try another burger and one of their brews next time.

Great lunch experience! Food was great cooked as listed in the menu Medium soft pink inside brown outside(Smoked Batch, Perfect Batch, Buffalo Wrap) Millie our waitress was super friendly, polite , helpful even gave us pint glasses to take home. Only negative was out of a beer I was hoping for, not their fault, obviously it was good. Will be back again.

Great spot Downtown Winston. Tasty wraps, fresh dumplings, and fantastic drinks especially the watermelon margarita. Fair prices and good vibes all around.

I placed an order with my friend. We mistakenly ordered it for the morning. When arrived it was so loud couldn’t even communicate properly with the manager or worker. Neither them were willing to compensate. Shut off your online ordering or have something to let others know your kitchen is closed at night or something. And instead of a refund for $17-18 dollars for a burger and fries they compensate with 30ish points! Not enough for anything when we didn’t even get our food. Worst experience because it was going to be my first time trying Small Batch.
