I’m a local Realtor that LOVES to eat and there are only two spots I get Tacos around here and this is one of them. Can’t decide which place has the better. They’re both absolutely delicious! Love these tacos here and their hot sauce is outstanding, too. Friendly staff. Nice location. Highly recommend. Five stars!

Best Mexican food in swfl hands down. Very authentic, great prices, extremely attentive and friendly staff, food that I dream about whenever I’m not there. I couldn’t recommend Maria’s more if you want quality delicious food that’ll have you dreaming of coming back. If you want a real treat get a margarita or Pina colada, you won’t be disappointed.

This taco stand is AMAZING! We have been coming here after sugar shack concerts at night and it’s always great. They have the best tacos, the best guacamole and drinks. It’s RIDICULOUSLY good. If you’re thinking about it— you should.

The food was delicious, I had the fish tacos (made w/ tilapia) and a margarita. The service could have been better. The host/server chose to ignore me after serving my meal and drink. He gave his attention to the other 4 tables around me. He constantly followed-up and refilled their water. After I finished eating my meal, that’s the only time he asked me if I needed anything else…he didn’t even bring me my check. He proceeded to clean off tables and continue checking on the other diners. Yes I was the only brown skin girl. I eventually walked up to the register and paid my bill. That’s when he asked me if my meal was good. Like I said, the food and drink were very good…but the serive FOR ME, wasn’t good. I will not return, and I’m sure he preferred that.

Food was dry. Got the “$2” pork tacos and portion was small. I’d need about 5-6 to equal about two at Taco Bell. Staff were very friendly and bartender was cool, but they never came with water and we had to buy bottles at the bar. Two beers and a margarita was $27. Not worth the $$$

Best taco deal in town. $1 tacos on Tuesday and very yummy. New go to spot. Regular price is fair too. Chorizo and al pastor were good. Pork and chicken were good but could use a little more flavor.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic Mexican restaurant in Bonita Springs that left me craving more. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, with friendly and attentive staff who made me feel right at home.
The highlight of my meal was the enchiladas, which were simply divine. The tortillas were perfectly cooked, the filling was flavorful, and the sauce was rich and satisfying. We also tried the burritos, which were packed with delicious ingredients and had a great balance of flavors.
To round out my meal, I ordered a bowl of soup, which was both comforting and flavorful. The broth was hearty and the ingredients were fresh.
Overall, my experience at this Mexican restaurant was exceptional. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fun and inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Mexican meal after visiting Wonder Garden.

The food was a 7 out of 10. Nothing out of the ordinary nor a wow factor. Be prepared to pay a 20% gratuity whether you like the food or service. Apparently they think tip is obligatory, and if you’re not paying attention to your receipt on top of taxes, and gratuity they will also charge you a 3% fee. After we asked why the fee, it’s when they explain that it’s a fee if you pay with credit. Instead of having the options on the receipt like many places do, they assume too much. The service wasn’t the best either. Took a while to even be asked what my husband and I wanted to drink, mind you it wasn’t that busy for a Friday night.

I’ve been coming here for years, and it still feels like coming home. I grew up part of my life in Texas (ages 17–34), and finding real, honest Mexican food in Naples can be tougher than you’d think. But Maria’s Tacos in Bonita Springs — this is the real deal.
Tonight we had gorditas, tostadas, and tamales to start, and for dinner I went with posole. If you don’t know posole, it’s a traditional corn-and-chicken stew with cabbage — the kind of comfort food that warms you from the inside out and makes you feel at home no matter where you are.
They also make an authentic mole that’s hard to find anywhere around here. My son had the mole tonight, and it was spot-on: deep, complex, and clearly made from scratch.
Everything here is made in-house — the beans, the sauces, the masa — no canned nacho cheese, no shortcuts. This isn’t fast-food “Mexican.” It’s the kind of food made for people who really love Mexican cuisine, not just the idea of it.
Maria’s has been part of the Bonita Springs community since around 1992, in an area that was once a strong center of Mexican-American life. Though the neighborhood has changed over the years, this restaurant hasn’t — it’s held onto the same authenticity, family warmth, and home-cooked flavor that made it a local favorite from the start.
If you want authentic Mexican comfort food, skip the fancy spots in Naples and head north to Bonita Springs. The locals already know — this is the place.
