Absolutely incredible. Went here for the first time and had the eggs Benedict. The English muffin was huge, the Canadian bacon was thick, the hollandaise sauce amazing, and the home fries super crispy. I have lived in Providence for almost 5 years and I can’t believe I’ve slept on this place! I definitely have to come back soon!

– Thursday at 10:00am / 15 people in the restaurant – $40 tab

Staff – The staff were very efficient and great company. The woman(Tracey) who waited on me spoke to me like family and she did her best to make sure she was helpful. The owner takes care of his business.

Drinks – Cafe coffee with the honey

Food – I ordered a meat lover omelette with hash browns and wheat bread with a side of biscuits and gravy and a side of corn beef hash. You get the food you came for and it comes out like your mom is cooking it has home. The portions were enough for me to take a full bowl to go. The fellas on the grill

Atmosphere – The cafe you came for is what you get. The place feels good to sit and have a good breakfast with friends family or just by yourself.

Enjoyed the eggs Benedict and blue berry French toast. Both were excellent although the eggs were a bit over cooked. But eggs Benedict is not easy to hit, and the Canadian bacon and hollandaise made me quickly forget :). Likely tell them to take care on those when you order. Hash browns were yum albeit a bit too salty for me. The French Toast was exceptional so much so, we had to ask the chef the recipe for the topping which he kindly shared :). Loved it!!

I stopped by for breakfast and ordered a custom omelette with my choice of ingredients. The food was delicious and well-prepared, but the overall atmosphere completely ruined the experience.

Several servers were loudly chatting about personal topics — things like mascara and face creams — throughout my meal. One server in particular, wearing a ring on her nose, was extremely loud and kept laughing every time she thought she said something funny. Their ongoing conversation was so distracting that they couldn’t focus on their work and ended up making mistakes on almost every table, even though there were only three occupied at the time.

My server was polite and attentive, but the cook, who was also part of the loud group, got my order wrong. I had requested whole wheat toast with no butter, but I was served white bread with butter instead.

When I politely asked the loud server to lower her voice, she apologized but made no effort to actually do so — in fact, she laughed even louder. I finished my breakfast as quickly as I could just to leave.

The food was good, but the unprofessional behavior and noisy environment completely ruined what could have been a pleasant meal.

Love this place. Came here when kiddo was looking at JWU. Had a great time. Up visiting now… Year and a half later… Brought the whole family. Still a great place. Home fries are awesome. Jerilynn took our family pic and kept my coffee hot full. Will be back in a few months. I had an omelet and somehow missed my own food pic. Lol.

I haven’t been here in a few years because someone had told me they closed down? But they are open and running. Pretty busy even right at closing time on a weekday. The staff was super nice even though I came really late. There’s a list full of vegan specials and gluten free options which was great for my friend. I love the corned beef hash and Benedict with hollandaise myself though. Everything was reasonably priced and I’m glad they haven’t closed

We did breakfast. Very good food. One thing I noticed was the toast was really toasty. I almost think they toasted it on the grill but it is not like Texas toast. I usually expect warm bread but this was toasted.

First pic is a veggie omelets or something like that (wife). The second is a breakfast burrito that my oldest son pretty much inhaled and wanted more tortillas. The third pic is my younger son’s go-to, western breakfast sammich. That was pretty much inhaled as well.

The fourth pic is my eggs, corned beef hash and grits. Everything was cooked perfectly, even my eggs over medium. The corn beef hash had a seasoning in it I was not used to being in hash but it was good. And I’m no grits aficionado but they seemed really good. I got them with the cheese and bacon but think I would try with just the bacon or even plain next time since I feel the grits were good enough to stand on their own.

Coffee was good, I did not try the flavored coffee but wish I had. The food came quick and was delivered hot. Servers were busy but prompt and very friendly.

Given the covid times we are in I will comment on that. It seems to me that they may have but up wood barriers between the booths. They looked new or at least newly painted. Regardless of when they were installed the barriers allowed separation between the occupants of adjacent booths and probably eased the noise levels a bit. All people that were required to be wearing masks wore masks the entire time we were there.

Overall this was a nice place that had a pretty good variety of food on the menu and it would be worth going back for breakfast and lunch a few times to try different dishes. We went on a rainy Saturday and were able to be seated quickly but I’m betting on a nice day that would not be the case and on post-covid times you’d have a bit of a wait.

If I could give the service six stars, I would! Super efficient so friendly. Great standard diner food with lots of vegetarian options. We had breakfast sandwiches, one with bacon and one with tempeh – both were excellent.
Ask for the hash browns extra crispy!

I love this place! For starters, the staff are always friendly! They greet you at the door right away and take very little time if any at all to take your order. The food is always fresh and the cook does an exceptional job of making sure your order is correct and fast. The atmosphere is bubbly and bright and the staff are always smiling.

This place is very nice to have breakfast or lunch. The place is small but is very well organized. Depending where you sit you can see the chef preparing the food. The teast of the food was good and the proportion was big.
