They serve the most delicious, freshly cooked, made to order breakfast I have ever had!!!! They are so nice and have this friendly open banter that has you laughing while you wait for your order!! Even if the line is long, they live swiftly and efficiently! The cook is sooooo funny!! I love it here! I go 3x a week!!

Had a great lunch today at the Hickory House in Lancaster, TX. Moist brisket, delicious ham, and perfectly cooked turkey. I had the three meat plate with BBQ beans and green beans. If you are in the area, definitely make a pit stop for lunch or dinner!!

It was very good for the price. All the food is delicious. However, the brisket was not top-notch. It was not bad, but I can’t say it was the best I’ve ever had.

All the way from Mckinney Tx for the Warbirds and wheels event , stopped by hickory’s and could of stayed for ever. The people the atmosphere the well aged building and Them knowing almost every one who walked in the door told me I was in the right place. Everything was delicious. This is nostalgic America. Thank y’all . I ordered ribs to go too and they were delicious

This is a little family owned place that I personally heard about through coworkers and friends. So literally the next day I went off and walked around to corner to check it out. Was instantly greeted by one of the owners to the sight of a lot of good looking food at a low price! The other owner shortly came out afterwards and he has A SENSE OF HUMOR lol. I wasn’t expecting it, but it really brightened up my cold cloudy day. I got the chicken fried steak, stuffed potato, pecan pie, and a stuffed bbq potato, and everything was so good I could’ve eaten it twice! Definitely want to return to check out the breakfast menu which is just as good, if not better, than the lunch menu. Great work guys and thank you!

Im not sure why that place called Korean BBQ, nothing from Korea. More likely Latina BBQ.

Very old style looking place, with 2 halls. One more like a diner style and the second – more like a banquet hall. All prices considerably good: ratio portion size and food quality.

Good solid place after all to go if you around hungry and looking for lunch or breakfast. But im not sure for long drive here. Definitely no.

I’ve enjoyed this delicious food since I was a kid living in Lancaster. The breakfast is just as awesome as the bbq. The staff are always laid back and fast. It’s always clean and inviting. If you haven’t tried this hidden gem then you are missing out.

Respectfully, and in my own opinion….THIS has to be the most disgusting BBQ I’ve EVER had in my 50 years on this earth.
The ribs still had the membrane on the back, the brisket was dry and greyish brown with absolutely no bark to be found..Oh and this is the very first time that Ive had to put salt on ribs . In fact, I bet my last 2 cents that the meat that I had was oven baked and not placed on a grill. The look, smell, texture and taste screamed commercial Whirlpool oven. This was lunch that my girlfriend got me at a little after 12 noon before I headed to work. So yea…this was NOT the ‘late in the day’ batch.

The best thing in my 2 meat/2 side plate was the buttered Texas toast. They have that part down to a science. But hey, if you’re in Lancaster and want some BBQ….give them a try
