A small group of us stored at this restaurant for dinner during our evening neighborhood walk. They were seeing up the outdoor area for live music. The food was great. Hand prepared pizza was a delicious melding of ingredients. The salad were fresh and tasty. There were several specialty drinks that we also enjoyed. The music was a pleasant complement to the atmosphere.

ATTN: This review will be about pizza. I haven’t ever had other items on the menu…
This is my family’s go to place for big gatherings and such.. the pizzas use to be outstandingly delicious. Now they’re just a great pie…. I don’t know if they changed the pizza dough or changed the ingredients provider or something, it just isn’t the same as before… still a great pizza and worth going for, DEFINITELY. BUT, a few things to keep in mind, we had a party of let’s say 12 adults, ordered 4 pizza pies, and it seemed like it took an EXTRA long time to come out, again great pizza, but the place wasn’t exactly hopping, but the servers were kind, attentive. We had reservations, because of the size of party, other than that I don’t think you’ll need reservations, the parking is absolutely a challenge unless you can find a spot in the parking lot, during busy times it’s usually full, and parking in this neighborhood is for the challenged and the patient people…. With that being said, there is handicap parking, entrance, and seating available. Great place to have loud conversations with lots of people at your table, typical pricing for an Italian joint, with drinks about $25-45 per person, unless you get pizza to share..
They also have a little nook inside to buy neat, yummy items. Specialty treats, cookies, chocolate, Italian pastries, yummy jams, specialty soaps, lotions… great for those out of towner family members Christmas gift ideas…
The atmosphere is always welcoming, a little standing fire place in the bar area. A definite recommend ❣️

Had an order delivered so cannot comment on atmosphere or service. However, the spaghetti was awful. i can make a better sauce myself and mine is not very good. Soupy and weird flavor. Large portion though. And lemon cake was pretty good.

Christmas dinner game-changer! We ditched the kitchen stress and went with Amalfi’s this year—and it is officially our new holiday tradition. The lasagna and meatballs were legendary and so simple to reheat. We had a mountain of food and the leftovers were just as tasty the next day. A massive shoutout to the manager for being so responsive and making the whole process a breeze. 10/10, exceeded every expectation!

As someone who grew up going here for pasta for 20 years, my wife and I were a little shocked that it went from a very comfortable family style to a modern less than inviting family restaurant. There is something to be said for updating but I think this went a little too far. The food was okay; certainly not what it used to be. The marinra sauce was a little too watery. We will be back for sure to try it again. Can’t say enough good things about the GM!!! Great call on putting her in charge (shorter lady long dark hair). I was glad to hear that the restuarant is still in the family! This is probably the biggest reason we will be back. Specifically because we used to always get served by Deb (Debbie). She always made us feel like family!! The spamoni ice cream is still wonderful and the cake are delicious! The antipasti was also amazing!! Maybe a little tweek to the sauce would make it better or is this even the orginal recipe with fresh ingredients? We will look forward to another try and hopefully see a full dinner option vs ala carte menu.

I wish I had realized how close Amalfi’s is to me much earlier. Crazy tasty Italian food.
I had the Chicken Parmesan – hot damn the garlic bread was good. The layers of cheese, sauce, and chicken was just what the Dr ordered. My wife had the Lasagna and loved it.
Between our table we ordered what felt like most of the menu. Everyone enjoyed. The pizza looked great. They have it all.

Amalfi’s has been the Grant High School Pizza Parlor and Italian Restaurant since 1961. The Dough and Sauce recipes remain original since the “Pizza House” – Now Amalfi’s, opened in 1959. A Great Pacific Northwest Style Pizza – And Michael – Gene and the Current Staff are just plain Fabulous – Do Not miss an opportunity to have “an evening” at Amalfi’s – Especially when their Outdoor area is open – Great Stuff.

Good food, liked the outdoor seating with the fire pit. Wait staff on our night did not check on us. It was cold so I wonder if that influenced her lack of attention. We had the pizza which was delicious. Drinks were well poured. Decent price for the quality of food and atmosphere.
