This rustic chic restaurant incorporates the brick and steel charm into a warm, welcoming restaurant. They have their own parking lot for guests and a public garage is across the street just in case. While it is a restaurant, it’s also a brewery and they have their own separate menu for their concoctions. Although there’s no designated gluten-free menu, our server, Kiona (I apologize if I’m spelling your name incorrectly) was able to assist pointing out options. When I informed her of my other dietary restrictions, she was able to alert the kitchen so they made a special pan-seared salmon with greens. It was extremely kind of them and the level of thoroughness to make sure I could eat there was outstanding. My husband ordered the Cowboy burger and was blown away from the first bite.
Before leaving, we took a look at their to-go cooler of beer and grabbed a bottle and a small souvenir.
I highly recommend having a bite and a drink at this restaurant and brewery. If we’re in the area again, we would absolutely stop by again.
The server we had back in July was awkward and made really weird jokes. The booth seating was a little weird too. It’s like they tried to maximize earning and fit one too many booths in the space they had. It was a bit uncomfortable.
The drinks were the best part of our dinner dining experience there that night.
The bartenders were super nice and the vibe was solid. Great place. If I lived here, I’d definitely be a regular.
I also ordered the fried calamari salad and it was delicious!!! Fresh, flavorful, and the sriracha ranch dressing tied everything together so well. Unfortunately, towards the end of my salad, I found a large fly in the salad. It was attempting to fly away. It wasn’t just sitting there—it was covered in dressing, which made it clear it had been there the whole time. Definitely disappointing and pretty gross.
When I brought it to the server’s attention, he immediately got the manager. While the salad was taken off the bill, I didn’t appreciate the manager suggesting/insinuated the fly might have flown in afterward. That wasn’t the case and it came across as dismissive.
That said, the food really was delicious, and I wouldn’t let this one incident deter me from coming back. I just hope management handles situations like this with more accountability moving forward.
