Being a former Pizza Man from Queens New York I know what I’m talking about when it comes to pizza. I had high hopes for this place but it was a big disappointment. I mean the food tasted pretty good, some of it. Fortunately there are better more authentic pizzerias in Bay county, this is just a glorified Domino’s Pizza, it’s a rip off tourist trap. The large pizza I don’t even think it’s 14 in which is not a large pizza. Minimum 16 inches is a large pizza and for the price this place charges it should be an 18-in pie with a lot more toppings and a lot more bite to it. We ordered white pie and it was the size you get from the supermarket, there was almost no ricotta cheese nor mozzarella it was almost as thin as the crust which if you know a good white pie has to be a little thicker so you can taste the delicious cheeses, which were pretty much non-existent. it was a real disappointment and I felt ripped off. We were hoping it would be our spot again coming from New York. The search goes on for the best pizzeria in Bay county. I would not recommend this restaurant it’s way too expensive for what they give you regarding the pizza. To be fair we did not try any of the other menu items and sadly we will not be. One more thing, this place did not even have zeppole’s, nor mozzarella sticks and we were hoping to see at least a rice ball on the menu, not very Italian. I don’t think the paparazzi will be saying very much about this place.

If you’re in the mood for some authentic Italian pizza, look no further than Papa-Rita’s Pizzeria! My recent visit was a delightful culinary experience that I can’t wait to share.
We started our meal with the garlic knots, and they were absolutely divine! Soft, fluffy, and generously coated in garlic butter, they were the perfect appetizer to whet our appetites. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the side of marinara sauce for dipping was the cherry on top.
Now, onto the star of the show—the Papa-Rita pizza. This pizza is a masterpiece! The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, the blend of fresh ingredients was evident in every bite.. Each slice was a perfect balance of flavors, making it incredibly satisfying.
If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Papa-Rita’s. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff is friendly, and the food is simply delicious. It’s the kind of place where you can truly appreciate the art of Italian pizza-making. You won’t be disappointed!

We’re on vacation and I wanted a mom and pop pizza shop no chain pizza so I was looking for a stone fire pizza and this place popped up so I tried it place my order on the phone got to the store and they said $70 I thought it was 17 at first I might know it’s got to be more than that so yeah it was a little shocking to say the least but it was good but not expecting $70 for two pizzas and garlic knots so make sure you’re asking questions and looking before you buy while on vacation lol but was very good

We live just a couple of miles from Paparazzi Pizza and have talked about eating there and finally did! We regret not going there before now, it was so good!!! My wife had the lasagna and she loved it, I had the meatball sub and everything from the bread,sauce, and meatballs were perfect ! Very friendly staff and you could tell everything was very organized and clean! We look forward to going back a lot more and we are very excited to try the spaghetti and meatballs!

The food here is very good. I normally go for the calzone (my favorite food) but I have tried their pizza and it’s pretty good. A little sad the calzones only allow two ttoppings but that doesnt make the flavor any less for me.
The only issue I’ve ever had is when I order online for pickup through doordash and order extra sauce cups (usually ranch). There have now been three occasions where ive had to argue with the Jamaican woman whos usually at the front about getting the extra sauce I purchased (for over a dollar a piece, wont be doing it anymore though because they went from putting the sauce in the large black sauce cups to much smaller ones, which definitley isnt worth the dollar lol). She claims that the “extra sauce on doordash is the marinara that already comes with the calzone” because it usually comes with two sides of sauce to dip in. Even when I show her that I paid nearly 4 dollars for ranch on the side… lol. Other than that the experience here has been pretty good.

Walk up to order, then be seated. Had a traditional thin w/pepperoni good pizza very quick service. Will definitely try again. Desserts looked amazing but too full to try any.

We ordered the Grand Lagoon with a Cesar salad and Italian wedding soup. We drove 20 minutes to try the pizza and it was well worth it! The customer service is top notch, the restraunt and restrooms were spotless. They were playing Frank Sinatra music that made the dinning experience even more enjoyable. The owner stopped over to check that everything was to our liking. It made us feel that he really cared about his restrauant and the guests. He even gave us a free piece of cheesecake. I NEVER tasted such a delicious cheesecake before today! You have to try Paparazzi Pizza, the food is amazing.
