Good sushi, rhey had a great special on a Thursday evening , the fried sushi is a bit dry but not in a bad way, more like eating too much of it. We over order, but over all was good. Favorite was the mango with coconut.

I had a couple of different sushi rolls and asked for what had been indicated as “inside” which I ignorantly thought meant to eat inside not carry out. My Fault However I had looked as those indicated as “outside” and it was success and cillatro and the such. I like my sushi plain. This is my misunderstanding but I did as well both times due to a lack of the native language point out the inside option. it was not a great issue just didn’t allow me to enjoy my meal as planned. Also I would note I would preferred the rice wrapping to not be warm or as soft as it was. I do acknowledge these are MY tastes and preferences so I leave this rating with that in mind.

1. We have been here 2 times and waited for an order for more than 1 hour. 8 waiters who do nothing and 3 cooks who do not have time to order.
2. The difference between portions of 6 and 12 pieces is the thickness of each piece. The portion size is the same, but when you order 12 you get super thin slices (see my photo)

I absolutely love this place! The tuna sashimi is always to perfection and my kids love the zone roll, it’s so sweet. One of the few places in town with soy paper which is why they are my personal favourite! A little slow though so if ordering take out, go for a drive down the Malecon and back to pass the time.

Don’t go here, the waiter was really rude and unhelpful, service was so slow and the food was mediocre. The tuna on the roll did not look fresh, the salad had no dressing and was just lettuce with spaghetti noodles and the miso soup was a gigantic bowl, filled to the rim with seaweed, I felt like I was swimming through sargassum in Cancun. We ordered twice, and waited 1 hour and 15 minutes each time. And the amount of “big” 12 pcs roll is ridiculous, it is extremely small. Salmon is very thin as well. And they didn’t give wasabi.
