This place has the best spicy chicken sandwich in town, hands down! The Bao is incredibly spicy, so consider yourself warned if you don’t handle a lot of heat well.
While the chicken sandwich is a must-try, the chicken nuggets were forgettable.

Loved the crispy chicken sandwich! The restaurant is friendly and cosy, the food is tasty, and the staff are friendly, accommodating and smiling! It was also not loud. We did make a reservation ahead, for a group of 5.

Trust me when I tell you this is the best spicy chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Came to Brooklyn for one day to get a tattoo and heard about this place. Incredible food, cold beer, friendly service and immaculate atmosphere. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Allswell is a weekly spot for me. I love sitting in the booth at the bar and catching up with my favorite bartender, James. I usually alternate between the source bowl and the house salad with crispy chicken, but I always order a side of fries (they change their oil daily). I also really appreciate that they make a proper, in-house ají hot sauce.
James is a true mixologist—an experienced, vetted bartender—and the bar offers an excellent selection of both cocktails and mocktails. The ambiance is warm and old-school Brooklyn, with exposed wood beams and stained-glass chandeliers. Consistent every time.

We’ve eaten here a couple times in the last few months and it’s rarely let us done. Surprisingly some of the best huevos rancheros in Williamsburg are delivered here. The eggs Benedict are great and the French toast. The only let down was the egg tacos which seemed very uninspired and kinda bland. But we will forgive them for that just this once.

I came in for a lunch date and it’s so cozy and beautiful inside. I ordered the flat iron steak and vegetable puree. My friend got the burger. It was amazing! And our server was quick and kind.

I heard a lot about Allswell, haven’t had the chance to go until very recently and I was not disappointed. The service was absolutely outstanding, and the food extremely tasty. My eggs Benedict were almost perfect. The sides are also quite good, I recommend the biscuit and the sausage, one of the juiciest I’ve ever had. The restaurant is also quite pretty and welcoming. Awesome place, I warmly recommend it.

Dined in solo on a weekday afternoon and had excellent service and a very tasty meal. The vibe here is warm, home-like, communal, neighborhoody, relaxed. Bathrooms are clean. Service was attentive yet breezy and the Source Bowl (upon recommendation) sub shrimp was so delicious!
