Listen, me and my man moved here from our native Kansas City about two months ago…we weren’t sure what we wanted to eat tonight we went here since it was close. We are so glad we did! We both got the Carolina pulled pork with no slaw on it as a combo. He got the potato salad I got the beans. The meat is the star here! Again we are from Kansas City so we have high standards and hope for our BBQ being good lol . The sandwiches were better than most of the places in KC! The sides were just ok. Good but we will probably just get meat here and have our own sides next time. The atmosphere was great and everyone was friendly the dining area was very clean and laid back and simple but still very nice! The sauce..OMG so good. We tried all of them one is original the medium is a bit more sweet and or tangy and the spicy isn’t too spicy but has a kick. I have a lower spice tolerance and I can take it 🙂 Keep it up y’all we will be back total is was $25 for 2 large combos..not bad at all . Next time we definitely will try the ribs

It is a small restaurant, capacity 92 with a drive-thru option that had cars lined up around the parking lot. They offer a variety of smoked meats and multiple options to eat them. The brisket was tender, pulled pork and sausage combo was spicy and good. The sauce was spot on, and we bought a bottle to take home. Overall enjoyable experience and we will come back next time we pass through Topeka. Shoutout to Mikaela for great service.

The BBQ is always yum….and the staff is super friendly. My mom ordered chicken strips, which took a few extra minutes, so the manager brought out a free serving of their fresh baked cobbler. I never tire of the best BBQ and personable service. Make sure to say hi to Byron, always happy to stop what he’s cleaning, to smile a chat a minute. This is a special place….highly recommend it!

HOG WILD, BABY! If you’re looking for BBQ that’ll knock your socks off and leave you dreaming about smoked meat for days—THIS is the place!

I rolled into the Topeka location, and let me tell you, I ordered the baked potato with brisket, and this thing was YUGE! We’re talking a mountain of fluffy potato, piled high with tender, smoky brisket, and drenched in that sweet, tangy, downright PERFECT BBQ sauce. Every bite? Glorious.

The French fries? A BIG HIT—crispy, golden, and absolutely devourable. The place was CLEAN (because that matters), and the service? Friendly and fast!

Bottom line—Hog Wild gets it RIGHT. If you haven’t been, what are you waiting for? GET IN HERE!

Be warned, they close at 8.

Service was great! We had pulled pork and ribs. Frys and Cole slaw as a side. Pulled pork could have had a tad more flavor but was smoked well and the ribs were very good. Cole slaw could have had more vinegar but that’s just a personal preference, it had a creamy texture and had a good amount of dressing. Fries were also a tad underdone for my taste. Food was very affordable, especially for the quality. We will for sure be going back!

Husband was served a turkey dinner and it was bland had no flavor whatsoever the only good thing about the meal was the roll… If you’re being paid by a company to feed a good number of people I would really do research as far as barbecue Texas I hear has the best in the world…but please this isn’t just from me this Is from an entire plant saying this…please do better. With the amount of money that I’m sure they paid it should at least come with some flavor included

The service was good and the young lady upfront had good suggestions. The BBQ pulled pork sandwich and mashed potatoes were superb. I wish I would have also got the baked beans as they looked good. I regret getting the peach cobbler as I feel it had a soap taste to it. Perhaps, too much rose water in the pasty mix? Regardless it was disappointing. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience.

Would stop again, ribs were fall off the bone with a nice sweet sauce. Brisket was chopped and picked apart, probably the best I’ve had.

Had never been to this place so stopped in. So glad we did. Got some really great food and the staff were pretty friendly as well. Great place for bbq – esp since there are mild and hot options. We will be back to try even more of their menu! Also just want to make clear you can have as much sauce as you want that small bit was just me putting it on the side to try it.
