We stopped on our way to Savannah. We are always looking for a local restaurant and this one did not disappoint. The food was good, the service was great and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We ate lunch at 12 on a Friday. The fried pickles were awesome. The burger was big and juicy. The Philly cheesesteak was ok but not the best. The cut of the French fries was perfect! I will definitely try this cut at home. Kinda like a steak fry but thinner and crunchy. We will definitely come back when we are coming through Cordele.

Popped in on a whim and it was a good decision. Been twice, had the wings and burger, it was amazing. Second time, I had the Philly steak. It was good, but it seemed like it was missing something, a little dry. I dipped it in ranch and it made it better. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Will be back. The server was very sweet and very accommodating.
He ordered a salad, nachos, wings, & fries. I got a goat burger, & fresh fried pork rinds. The pork rinds are fried to order. The came out still popping. I also order a drink there & a drink to go. Both were very good.

First time to try Railroad Tavern.
What we ordered and the amount of food we received, was pricey in our opinion. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with the tater tots & the Fried shrimp with sweet potato fries & chips & queso. The philly cheesesteak, tots, sweet potato fries, and shrimp were good. Some of the chips were a little soggy. We also ordered the Funnel Cake fries that are $6. Skip the Funnel Cake fries as you do not get many for the price.
The location is in a deserted downtown area, but nice and welcoming. There is good service and parking is good.
It seems like the restaurant is more for locals in the area.

Great food! Lemon Pepper Chicken was amazing! I honestly expected it to be dry but it was mouth-watering. Love the tall glasses for drinks they give you. Onion rings were a little over cooked but still tasty. The best thing are the fries, if I could choose any restaurant in Cordele to get fries from, it would be Railhouse.

My server Ashlyn was terrific. She gave perfect recommendations and fantastic service. I had the Shrimp Po Boy w/ Chips and Queso, and a Rice Crispy Boi lager. I will definitely be back!
Edit: I had lunch here again and sat at the bar. Sage and Brandy took care of me together and the service and food was fantastic! I wish I could give this place another 5 star review!

The atmosphere was nice a little small, but provided a seating area outside. If there were other areas, we didn’t see it.
The burgers were not overly seasoned and tasted pretty good. Could use at least two slices of bacon and give the option of how a customer would like the burger. Love the way the fries were cut. Perfect to allow for crispy fries. The type of food is expected for a tavern environment. I can only imagine how busy they would be during lunch hours on weekdays.
Overall, good food and excellent service. Will stop in again to try something different.

We ordered patty melts. Definitely not their specialty. The onions and mushrooms were not sauteed. The bread was toasted and really needed to be grilled. The burger itself had great flavor.

Not that great. Ordered a Patty Melt (PM), the burger, although very tasty, was way to small for the sourdough bread, consider smashing it, make it bigger. The onions were raw, PMs are to have sauted onions, and not finely chopped. Lastly, there should be cheese, what a joke. Your fries were good.
