Reviews
The Garden Room is as you imagined a very magical restaurant. The florals and greenery are fake but it adds a level to the dining experience you’d expect. Sadly, I thought it was a good idea for an anniversary. The hostesses were phenomenal, even the head waiter was very attentive to say Happy Anniversary. The waitress is where things went wrong. She immediately said “Happy Birthday” which isn’t what ruined it, but it gave a weird vibe. “Oh sorry, I thought it was a birthday, Happy Anniversary…” It was a stark contrast to the hostesses at the front which did a great job letting us know it was a special night.
What actually ruined it was when I went to the restroom, she placed the cake down in front of my partner and said “Happy Anniversary!” when she was alone… Anyone could have told that was a horrible idea. We felt like they didn’t really care about us and felt especially isolated by our waitress. Everyone else and the food / experience of the dessert was amazing. Her attitude is only going to ruin your special night.

Food :
Cucumber Salad (Solid 7.5/10) Not worth the price
Fire Roasted Maitake (6/10) Personal preference that it was too sour
Drink:
I love lychee (9/10) Looks beautifully crafted and absolutely delicious. Would get again!! Bar seating looked great too.
Dessert:
La vie en rose (9/10 Presentation 6/10 Taste) You should definitely get this at least once. If you like the taste of rose you will like it a lot. The presentation is what is amazing, makes it fun and memorable. Really interactive as well/ Get those cameras ready!
Passion Creme Brulee (9/10) Fantastic tasting dessert. It’s a solid one I would get again.
Wish I could recommend the restaurant, maybe you’ll get lucky if you want to take that chance.

As many have said, this place is quite pricey for the portions received. I wasn’t that impressed with my dinner, the mushroom (pillows) pasta, it was okay.
Nonetheless, definitely a cute place!
I had been wanting to go to the Garden Room on and off for years. I’d make reservations, than after reading the reviews, decide to cancel. The reviews were consistently hit or miss. People seemed to either love or hate it, nothing consistent. My husband ended up taking me to dinner here for my birthday. We knew the place would be beautiful. But quit frankly, after extensive reviews via youtube and social media we both had very low expectations regarding the food and waitstaff.
There was no wait. Chris was our server, he was outstanding 10+ stars easily. He was very warm, friendly and personable, an instant “friend”. Not rude or stuffy, but extremely helpful. The food, again we had zero expectations. But I can honestly say it was the best meal ever. We had focaccia bread, again best ever and I make a pretty mean homemade loaf myself but it beat mine. We had the short ribs for our entree. You could eat it with a spoon, it was very tender, rich and decadent. It was seasoned to perfection. I hate salty food, it had the perfect amount a slight hint. The serving portions were on the smaller side (see pics), but it was more than plenty for us and again it was very rich and decadent. The desserts were “ok”, different a little on the odd side as if trying to hard but missed. If I went back I’d skip the desserts (ps we did go back 2/2026 below).
The meals are paced its like clock work, you order EVERYTHING at one time. Except to spend at least 2hrs, but it goes by fast and each course is made to feel special. You are not rushed.
It was a Friday evening. The music was turned up during our visit as people started pouring it. Where we were seated (right under a speaker), it did become a bit loud so we asked if they could turn it down just a hair and they did.
They treated us like royalty from valet parking to escorting us out of the restaurant through the crowd.
I highly recommend this place, and we will be going back again. I definitely suggest reservations.
Note: Parking was a huge concern but it turned out to be so easy! What a nice surprise!! There is valet parking at the hotel (very fast, 20.00 if validated). You pull into the Regis hotel, hotel staff are standing by to immediately greet you. You go inside the hotel, straight back to the elevators. Go up to the 4th floor (which is actually the next floor up). Exit the elevator, turn immediate right (pass the restrooms on the right) and its a short walk down the hall through the outside doors on the right. You cut through the hotel, past the Atlis restaurant (they share the same kitchen). The valet parking was very fast and organized both entering & exsiting. So even parking is not an issue. Beautiful place.

We went again, my daughter’s bday party of 3. The food and experience was even better if that were possible. We ordered and shared the tomahawk steak, whole chicken and tableside carbonara. Everything was cooked to perfection. See additional pics below.
