Food was mid. Workers were rude. Attitude galore. Messy dining room. Oil from fryer hasn’t been changed considering the fries were horrible. Highly do NOT recommend. Don’t come here unless you wanna to be treated poorly and get even poorer quality food

Nice alternative to the big three fast food burger chains! The single burger is almost not enough for bigger appetites. The fries are decent and the milkshakes are delicious, creamy and cold. Update July 2024 Best fast food in Green Hills. Update Nov 2024 The smash burgers were burned around the edges! I don’t feel comfortable eating burned food of any type! The fries cooked to order and excellent! The milkshake at $5.99 is a better deal than the soda at $3.49. I appreciate that they bring the food to your table and the server was a very nice person. Update We went back over Memorial Day weekend and the quality had really improved! The hamburgers, shakes and hotdogs were above average. The delicious and refreshing lemonade tastes fresh squeezed and hot crispy french fries were excellent!

We really enjoyed our burgers. I was surprised that I would like the fries as much as I did. The cheesy fries were my favorite part of the meal. We also ordered a kiwi lemonade but I didn’t like it as much, it tasted more sweet than anything. The cookies and cream milkshake was delicious and it actually tasted like Oreo.

Treated with disdain and indifference by a team member who is paid to serve customers! Imagine being invited to an acquaintance’s home for Thanksgiving dinner. You ring the doorbell. The host opens the door, says nothing—no “Welcome” or “Happy Thanksgiving”—and simply points to the dining table before walking away. The food might be good, but the absence of warmth changes the entire experience.

That is what my visit to Shake Shack Green Hills felt like today.

Normally, orders at Shake Shack are placed through the self-service kiosks. However, to take part in the Veterans Day burger offer, you must go through a team member. When I first arrived, I asked one of the line cooks about the promotion, and another team member came out to assist me.

She never greeted me. She began typing on her screen, asked “Eat it here?” and “Anything else?,” which I answered. She then pointed to the payment terminal, handed me my number, and turned away. No hello. No thank you. And on a day meant to honor service members, not even a simple “Thank you for your service.”

As I was leaving, I asked for her name so that I could include it in my feedback. Her response was, “It’s OK.” I explained that I wanted to complete a survey and would like her name, and again she said, “It’s OK.” Since I was unable to obtain her name, I will note that she was a young African American woman with long blonde dreadlocks.

The interaction and her overall demeanor reflected disdain, or at best indifference, for me as a customer. It felt personal and dismissive, as though my presence was an inconvenience.

When I asked for the manager, Kevin—the shift manager and a former Marine—came over. He was courteous, professional, and immediately acknowledged the lack of courtesy shown. He apologized sincerely and represented the kind of service that builds a brand and restores confidence.

I share this not as a casual complaint but as feedback to help reinforce Shake Shack’s values of hospitality and respect. Courtesy costs nothing, yet it defines the guest experience. On Veterans Day especially, such an interaction leaves a lasting impression that should not represent the Shake Shack brand.

I got a single Shack Burger and small fries. The Shack Sauce tastes like off-brand Mayo with enough ketchup for color, not flavor, and a sprinkle of mild paprika. Not good at all. The ketchup station had dried on ketchup and dust on the ketchup dispensers. I came in at 10:30 am when they opened, so there is no excuse for this nastiness.

I have had Shake Shack a total of twice and both times I will admit the food is good for the price and the area. The issue comes if you want to actually dine in. This is a weird thing to say but its definitely not a cash friendly place. I find that weird. The expectation is for you to come in and order your food at a kiosk and pay with card. When I approached the counter absolutely every human in uniform ignored me. I only figured out what I was suppose to do by asking some high school kids near by who were also customers. So my dining in experience was a define zero since I couldn’t even order.

From a building in ambiance perspective, it’s your basic burger, fast food place. But from an actual quality of food, the burger is top-notch. Beef is sourced from high quality farms – No antibiotics or hormones.

I received great service, the line moved fast, the manager checked on me, and the food was fresh. I wasn’t moved by the burger or fries, but neither were nasty. I have been told their chicken sandwiches are better though so I think I will try them next. Overall though it wasn’t a bad experience, the good service helped a lot.

First time eating here. I got the Smoked Shack Double, Fries, and Chocolate Cookies N Cream Shake. Food was really good. Atmosphere is good. Service was really good. Didn’t have to wait long for the food. Just expect to wait to order, but not real long.

Enjoyed my 1000 calorie meal .
The burgers and shake are prepared fresh and was a solid .
We got the buffalo chicken and the shroom burger with the spicy fries and the seasonal shake.
Loved all of it except for the fact that i need to hit the gym for an extra hour to shed those extra calories.
But the best high quality fast food joint for sure .
