The food was not up to speck. I’ve been a cook all my life and I ordered the farm skillet with over medium eggs and white toast. I sent the order back because the eggs were well done and scorched, the second eggs were also well done but not as scorched the skillet was no longer hot and the toast was cold when it was buttered because the butter was not melted. I asked for the Manager she offered to replace the eggs again and admitted that they were well done. I declined and will never eat at the Bemidji County Kitchen again. Oh the service was good just not a good experience

I had not stepped into a Country Kitchen in over a decade. I was quite happy to see this restaurant.
My server, Broderick, was great. He is very polite & appropriately checked on me during my meal. I had the Savory Pot Roast Stacker. Tender roast beef, rich gravy, mashed potatoes over slice of brioche bread. The restaurant had a familiar look, tho my booth was in need of mending. I recommend Country Kitchen.

The food was great. The waitress was friendly, attentive, polite and helpful. The cook got everything tasty and properly cooked for each of us, and the food was ready very quickly. A little pricey, but good food properly prepared.

It’s been 9 or 10 months since I’ve been to this Country Kitchen. We’ve always liked Country Kitchen, but we’re just trying to eat at home more. This visit was on a Saturday morning just after Christmas. I treated my daughter for a special breakfast as she was returning to college that afternoon. It was somewhat busy when we arrived but we were seated immediately by the hostess and she brought us ice water. We were quick to decide what we wanted to eat and the server came almost immediately to ask us if we were ready to order and we were. She knew the menu items thoroughly! Our order was accurate and delivered to our table very quickly. Our omelets were fresh, hot and were well done inside. The hashbrowns were so delicious with the perfect crunch. The pancakes were so amazing too. I recommend the blueberry syrup. I ordered off the lighter fare/senior menu and it was a lot of food. I did get a to-go box for almost half of my breakfast. It was SO yummy, and it filled me up quickly! Our server checked on us often throughout our meal. She was an excellent server and I let her know that when she cashed us out at the register on our way out. I highly recommend breakfast here for sure!

This was one of the worst meals of my life. I ordered a Cobb salad, poutine, pot roast and mushroom Swiss burger.
The Cobb salad use deli meat instead of actual pieces of chicken/turkey
Mac & cheese that I ordered with my pot roast was Kraft mac & cheese I had no idea a restaurant would dare to sell such a thing . Pot roast was overcooked and had no onion Tanglers.
Burger was overcooked, bun was stale, and there was barely any mushrooms on the burger
Protein had no gravy. It was cheese fries with bacon and they threw cheese curds in there. No balance just a big pile of grease
Look at the photos. It’s absurd
I pickup my food and ate it within minutes of picking it up but they did make me wait for 15 minutes for my food to be ready and the guy was pretty rude
This is cafeteria level food for 60 bucks with a 20% off coupon

Good meal. Service was quick and friendly. They also had a salad bar and soup area you could partake in, I believe for an upcharge. I got the Ribeye Bourbon Steak, and it was delicious! Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

This is a decent sit-down restaurant, but it is not quite as good as it used to be. Though it is still better than Perkins. The staff are always fantastic, and the cooks are quick at what they do. The interior is clean and has an old style to it.
During and after 2019 or 2020, they started cutting corners on certain foods in small ways, like with the alfredo pasta and the omelets. It’s still good, of course, just not quite as good as it used to be. They also switched out the light bulbs for harsh white light ones, which makes it feel less cozy, in my opinion.
Overall decent, with room to improve.

Just got back home with my pick up order for me and my husband and my husbands meal plus the appetizer were terrible, my husband took two bites and had to throw it away, the patty looks like it was peeled off the burner, a layer of completely burnt, cheese wasn’t melted, bun was smashed and soggy, and his cheesy bacon fries were just covered in huge 1in pieces of bacon fat, no actual bacon meat. As if we just got the trimmings thrown in. The fried pickles were very bland and they also forgot the creamy garlic dip that was supposed to come with them. We won’t be revisiting this store or recommending them.
