Ordered takeout online right around opening. They are located inside of the building where the sign is. There is a small gate just to the north of the building on the corner to enter into. It was super busy inside, just 30 minutes after they opened and cars were parking and piling in while we were there. It is street parking around the area, in a bit of a rougher area. Service was prompt, quick and helpful. However, our utensils didn’t get included with our to-go. We orders the Poke Nachos and the Short Rib Plate. The chips and tuna were ultra fresh and the sauces on top were fantastic. Insane size of portions. However, I wish they would have added chopped veggies for the nachos like English cucumber and avocado. The spare ribs had great flavor but a lot of fat, didn’t love the freshness level of the rice nor the Mac salad.

Great pork curry katsu, good poke, tasty but very chewy ribs, ok Mac salad. General greasy smell of the restaurant pretty overwhelming, caused some asthma. Might bypass the dine-in experience and get katsu to go in future(?) Popular and good happy vibes, good to see so many island people here.

Been coming for a few years, but yesterday was off the hook. We pre ordered the Ilocos empanadas (way bigger than we thought they’d be!), but those are for lunches and dinners. We got the may-jah moco special and everything was amazing. Katsu super crispy, the pork super soft and fatty, and those burger patties are to die for. This needs to be a regular item on the menu! Split it with my wife and we still have leftovers. The workers and owners are always super kind, even when they’re crazy busy. 11/10 guys!

Food: Both Items were great. I’d say I really liked the “DA KFC” more tho. The sauce was so good. The proportions were insane. I ate half that day and the other half the next day and still got so full.

I hear this place is supposed to be so good, so I took my bestie for her birthday and this place is not good. She got the garlic shrimp and its sitting in a pool of grease and the breading is all soggy with no flavor. I got the salmon katsu and the sauces on it are good, but the rest is no good. The salmon is dry and the breading on is thick. There’s more breading than salmon. The Mac salad tastes just like mayo there’s no flavor. This is not worth 70 dollars. We got 2 margs also that are pretty good, but thats about it.
Update: They did give me a refund for my food, so I do really appreciate how nice and sorry they were we had a bad experience.

Yeah, let me give you some tips. This place really piles on the quantity of food and the Good vibes. I ordered too much food and I think I ordered the lower quality meats that were battered and fried. Do yourself a favor and get the kalbi and/or any kind of poke. Almost whatever you order you will have two meals worth of food, unless you just get a single order kalbi plate. I ordered the three item combo and that was about enough food for three people. So I did enjoy some tasty leftovers.

Highly recommended Hawaiian spot that exceeded expectations. Not sure what these reviews from people who claim to be local guides are about, this place is amazing. The messy bathroom and bad food comments should be disregarded from the previous reviews. Great vibes and better food. I’ll be back next weekend- Mahalo

A spacious place to get some poke nachos. The portion was huge and the teriyaki sauce on the sweet side. The nachos are made with deep fried won ton wrappers.
