Probably the worst McDonald’s experience I’ve had. Everyone I spoke with at this location seem to have an attitude for absolutely no reason. My order was missing several items and the items that I did receive for made incorrectly. I ordered a large triple cheeseburger meal, plain, with light ice in the drink. The burger was correct, but I got a small fry and extra ice in the drink. I had also ordered a Happy Meal and got McDisappointment, instead. The Happy Meal I didn’t even come with the chicken nuggets or the toy. And the fries were just dumped out into the box. Absolutely pathetic.

Will drive across town for this one if I want McDonald’s. Food is always hot and fresh and order is correct. Easy stop for coffee and hash browns on the way, always friendly at the windows. Deeply appreciated! Thank you!!

Extremely upset to hear that my 72 year old mother was trapped in a bathroom stall and an employee, that found her, left it up to her husband to help get her out ! She had to call me, her daughter to call her spouse. Flustered and unable to call him, she was able to reach me. No manager went in to attend the situation. No apology. Again, No assistance from anyone in McDonald’s. I called later that day to complain to the manager. Dalton, who didn’t want to give his name at first and asked why I wanted it. Informed him I’d like to know whom I was speaking with He then put me on hold in the middle of the discussion. I explained the situation, since he was not there earlier. HE AGAIN was mumbling and taking to someone else asking if I wanted an 800 number, & I said I’d like to know they would fix the door so no one else got trapped! After he was not able to listen since he said he was working with the drive thru, I just left the conversation aggravated he could not even listen to my concern.

Loved the guy that handed the food, great laugh and vibes, doors locked an hour early and I had to pee so bad. Ice cream tasted a bit off, way too much vanilla. Loved the sign that changed colors too.

Judging by the half a hash brown cake on the floor, the dining area hasn’t been cleaned since this morning sometime before breakfast stopped. Finding a clean enough table required me wiping away food from both the table and the portion of the seat I settled upon.
I wouldn’t mind the kiosk system if I didn’t have to ask for a cup everytime because no one seems to remember to give you one.
But my favorite parts were the, “wash your hands and change your clothes!” And, “I’m going to pee my pants!” Shouted from behind the counter near the drive through to someone further in the back. I can see why most folks chose to eat in their cars.

This McDonald’s location is consistent in its very slow drive-thru. Never go there if you’re in a hurry. Today I ordered two apple pies. Both were burnt too badly to eat. Someone made the decision to send those pies out the window. They also forgot a hash brown that was supposed to be in our order. We did not have time to get the issue fixed. Overall, I’m just done with this location.

⭐ 1-Star Review: Commerce Crossings McDonald’s – Lawrenceburg, KY
Title: The Franchise That Forgot It’s in the Service Industry
Let me be crystal clear: I don’t expect fine dining at McDonald’s — but I do expect basic competence, accountability, and a shred of customer respect. Unfortunately, the Commerce Crossings location in Lawrenceburg can’t even manage that.
My recent visit was a masterclass in mediocrity:
• Staff barely acknowledged customers.
• Orders were wrong — not once, but repeatedly.
• The inside? Filthy.
• And the wait time? I’ve had faster service at the DMV.
But here’s the real issue: this isn’t a one-time slip-up. It’s a pattern. And the reason is obvious — the franchisee doesn’t care.
Not about quality.
Not about training.
And definitely not about the opinions of the people keeping their doors open.
You can smell the apathy in every cold fry and half-wrapped burger. It’s in the eye rolls when you ask for a correction. It’s in the zero effort to address feedback — because they know you’ll either give up… or never come back.
Well, guess what?
I’m not coming back. And I’m not staying quiet, either.
McDonald’s corporate, are you even paying attention to the standards being ignored here? Or has this location simply fallen off your radar like so many others that gave up trying?
Clean it up. Or close it down.
