“We had a truly fantastic dining experience at White Dog Cafe, Wayne, PA. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, vibrant, cozy and welcoming, but what really made the experience stand out was the service. “The service was impeccable. The managers walked around to personally ‘touch’ every table and ensure each guest received stellar service. It’s rare to see that level of attentiveness and genuine care from leadership these days.
Our server, Christine, was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly attentive, ensuring everything arrived with perfection. Her recommendations were spot on—you can tell she really knows the menu quality inside and out.
The food was equally impressive, farm to table, locally sourced, exceptionally delicious. The Asian Pork Ribs were the definition of “low and slow” perfection—a succulent, fall-off-the-bone experience. The ribs were lacquered in a mouth watering, Asian-inspired BBQ glaze. My meal was a delicious meatloaf that was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, often described as “to die for.” It was complemented by mashed potatoes that were “above and beyond delicious…creamy and smooth enough to melt in your mouth. It’s rare to find a place where the service and the kitchen are both performing at such a high level.
Huge thanks to Christine, staff and management team for making us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back soon and will be asking for Christine’s section again.

Storm preparations included a date night at White Dog Café in Wayne. Its always delivers a dining experience that feels perfectly dialed in from start to finish. We’ve not been In a while and the moment you step in, you feel at home.

The atmosphere is flawless, warm, inviting, and stylish without ever feeling formal. It’s the ideal setting for everything from a casual night out to a special occasion. Service is equally impressive: attentive, friendly, and impeccably timed, making you feel genuinely cared for without being intrusive. All the courses were timed perfectly.

The cocktail program deserves special mention. Creative, well-balanced, and expertly crafted, the drinks are the perfect way to begin the evening and set the tone for what follows. (A perfect dirty vodka martini)

The appetizers are outstanding, beautifully presented, full of flavor, and the ideal prelude to the main event, the yellowfin tuna tartar I would highly recommend… And then we come to the cheeseburger, that famous line, “make me a cheeseburger”. Quite simply, one of the best on the Main Line. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and balanced in every bite, it’s the kind of burger that defines a restaurant (and you must include the spicy pickles and thick cut local bacon)

What truly ties it all together is the commitment to locally sourced ingredients. Every dish tastes fresher, more thoughtful, and more intentional because of it. White Dog Café continues to set the bar in Wayne with atmosphere, service, cocktails, and food that all come together in a truly memorable way that makes White Dog the perfect cozy night out for any occasion. We are thrilled about storm prep plans

White Dog Café has quickly become one of my absolute favorite restaurants, and it’s easy to see why. From the warm, inviting atmosphere to the consistently excellent food and service, every visit feels special. The location is convenient, the staff is top-notch, and the menu always surprises me in the best way.

I especially love trying entrées from their specials—each one has been nothing short of amazing. The creativity and flavor always impress me, and I leave looking forward to what they’ll come up with next.

On our most recent visit, our server Rosie went above and beyond. She was so kind, knowledgeable, and friendly that we joked about wanting her to join us at the table. Her thoughtful service made the experience even more memorable.

White Dog Café is the perfect blend of delicious food, great energy, and truly wonderful people. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out!

Fantastic happy hour menu. Ordered the entire menu with a friend and everything was fantastic.
Oysters were fresh, burger was juicy, tuna tartare was flavorful. Can’t go with wrong with anything.

Nice aesthetic inside with plenty of seating and good drinks. Definitely stop in.

We’ve enjoyed lunch at other White Dog Cafes, and this location even exceeded our previous dining experiences. The service was attentive and we loved the unique dog-themed decor in each room (including the rest rooms!) Our lunch in the Library ( with book chandeliers) started with homemade warm bread and spreads. I devoured a combo soup, salad and toasted cheese sandwich. Try to save some room for dessert. We shared chocolate cake and creme brulee. Our server gave us a heads up about a 3% discount on the bill if you pay with cash or debit card versus a credit card.

I love the White Dog. The atmosphere is cozy like a cup of tea on a rainy day. The poached pear salad is wonderful’ as is the Kennett Square mushroom soup rivals LG. My son commented the house burger was top 3 best he’s ever had. He planned to take half home but was compelled to finish it. I recommend the Buffalo chicken dip as well. It could be spicier but still very flavorful. My son loved the oysters. Lastly the drink I got was I think Autumn embrace? Delicious. Everything was spot on.

The food is fantastic. Try the homemade perogie appetizer for a real treat. Topped with real bacon bits, fried onions and peppers and a dollop of sour cream make these a unique take on the traditional perogie. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the service was attentive. The atmosphere is upscale yet comfortable. As dog lovers, we enjoyed all the paintings of dogs on the walls.
