FLAMES straight gas. This place hits the spot if you know what I mean. The barbacoa tacos were delicious and the GRANDE chimichanga was peak cuisine. The staff is SO friendly and everything was so clean. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back. The coconut margarita was also delicious.

Moving to northern Ohio from Atlanta, where all Kinds of ethnic food is readily available.Not so much in fremont ohio , but a short drive to Perrysburg and i’ve found a gem. As soon as you try the salsa you know you’re gonna be in for a treat. All Mexican restaurants have margaritas and everybody says they’re good, but generally most of them are bitter and if not for the tequila, we probably wouldn’t drink them. At CDC i can honestly say this was probably the best margarita i’ve ever had. I pay a lot of attention to the food as I’m a chef and I can tell you one thing I’d have any of these guys in my kitchen. I had a shrimp dish can’t remember what it was called but it had mushrooms in it and it was served on rice with cheese and it was excellent. If You’re ever in Perrysburg treat yourself and stop at this place if you’re hungry or just want a great margarita.

Stopped here while shopping in Ohio. It’s a small restaurant in a strip mall, but obviously a favorite with the locals.. Though most tables were full, there was no wait time..The flow of the place was well managed. The staff was courteous and very professional..One of the things that stood out for me was some of the decorations on the wall. The food arrived pretty quickly. One dish we tried was the birria,. something I’ve wanted to taste for quite some time. It was delicious..I don’t know.when I’ll be passing through Ohio again, but I’m going to squeeze this place in for another delicious meal.

My first time trying this last week and it was so delicious very flavorful and fresh that I had come back again. I kept craving that taste that only they give here at Cocina De Carlos. The portions are well worth your money and at least you know it’s authentic not Taco Bell. I’d wait for this any day over fast food. The last photo of the two taco and Spanish rice kids meal was perfect as well I had to add. I Love it!! ❤️it!!! ❤️ it!!!!

We stopped in at Cocina Del Carlos on our way back from the Detroit airport. This was a completely unexpected and amazing surprise. It was exactly what I needed that night. The food was AMAZING! The servers were friendly. The environment is pretty typical of any Mexican restaurant. It’s located in a strip mall which originally had me questioning the quality, but after walking inside and sitting down, everything was great. If you’re looking for GREAT Mexican food, this is the place! Oh, and I had the Fajones! I’ve never had those before, and they were amazing!!!!! Basically like fajitas covered in queso.SO good!
