One of the best Beef Satay Noodle Soup in the city. We also started with the Salad Rolls (okay) and then tried the Co’m-Bò Sate which is this thin beef on bean sprouts, lettuce, tomato, with a spicy sate sauce, served with rice. I’m told its not traditional, but I loved it.

I really don’t understand why this place has so many good reviews. I ordered the vermicelli bowl, and the meat portion and spring roll quality were disappointing. The salad roll was also very small and had almost no flavor.

Their pho is excellent for the cold season. The place also had a homey vibe to it. Despite the crowd, service was surprisingly quick.

I’ve been there many times, and each time it feels like gambling. The taste is different every time, sometimes too salty. The worst thing is that they use broken bowls. We have children among us. If a child gets hurt because of this, will they be responsible?

Paid more than 15$ for a regular size beef noodle soup. It came with 4 thin small slices of beef and the rest is noodle. I have been to a lot of pho places around the city and this one definitely has an unusal ratio for beef/noodle. Service was quick and efficient.

My Absolute FAVE in Calgary. Granted I have only tried 5 now. But at least a decent amount from one super well known or voted for….to a new one in University and others less known. The broth here for ME is the BEST! It actually has colour but the flavor for me is amazing ..light but not clear like I found others to be translucent clear and almost tasteless. Like needing the sauces etc.
Speaking of sauces I love Pho Haoi’s taste more authentic than just brand Sriracha ..though dont get me wrong that is tasty and has its place… I just enjoy the home made. And they keep their sauces clean and have fish sauce!
I enjoy #1 .. I had a number 2 but enjoy the rare beef more. Served with tea as well which is so lovely and appreciated.
I ❤️ Pho Hoai definitely recommend.
PS green juice was tasty tons of health benefits. Wasn’t bad but I definitely had only ordered it based on the picture of a fresh juice cup. My bad I didn’t ask lol I assumed they were making it in house. But totally fine. Was still good. Only for those who really can handle true green juice.. lol which is fine with me!

Beef pho and pho sate were okay, my Quang was watery and less flavourful. None of them tastes authentic like when we tried in Vietnam but tasty regardlessly. The people there were very friendly and you can sit outside the restaurant but inside the mall.

Top notch Vietnamese food. Large portions and a little higher priced but you get what you pay for. Certainly not a great atmosphere but the service was very attentive, they brought out the salad rolls immediately and the main dishes were out about 5 min later. Kept the water full and the taste was so so good.

The food was easily the worst I’ve had in town. The soup, in particular, was shockingly bad, completely bland, with no depth of flavor, and almost colorless. It honestly tasted like plain boiled water with a few pieces of meat thrown in as an afterthought. For a dish that should be comforting and rich, it was incredibly disappointing.

In search of a good Vietnamese restaurant we found this hidden gem.
Let’s start with the food. We ordered spring rolls, a hot soup and one of their special signature bowls with chicken. The food was awesome. They first served us with hot green tea and a plate of sprouts which was a nice touch. The food was served very fast and we enjoyed the quality. It was so good that I ordered a bowl of soup to take with me home.
What needs improvement? Probably having chilli in oil sauce, asking if we needed a fork ( not everyone is comfortable with chopsticks) and checking with us if we needed anything else.
What I didn’t like? The mirrors were dirty, the whole restaurant can benefit a little cleaning and better lighting.
