Have been quite a few times, however last week really stood out. Went for my birthday and I was treated to a yummy birthday treat. Ice cream and a deep fried pastry. The waitress was phenomenal! (Cannot remember her name) We were there chatting away for at least 3 hrs. At no time were made to feel rushed, unwelcome or in the way. We were quite impressed with how we were treated. Many other restaurants would have rushed us out to turn the table and we were told multiple times to enjoy.
Food was great and fresh, as always.
That was the 1st time eating downstairs. The upstairs patio is quite lovely.
We each got the LUNCH BENTO BOX snack size as well as an additional roll. I got the white tuna, seaweed salad and Shiitake roll.

The sushi was delicious and fresh, especially for an AYCE spot. Unfortunately, every round of orders took about 30 minutes to arrive, which made the whole experience drag on far too long. Amazing flavors, but the wait times really took away from the enjoyment.

We came here for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent—especially the calamari and the salmon nigiri, which were outstanding. Antonia was very attentive and helped us choose the right dishes, making the experience even better. It was our first time at Kona, and we truly loved the place. We’ll definitely be back.

Jon took absolutely great care of our group of 3 for some late night all-you-can-eat sushi. Kona Tecumseh has been a great atmosphere with great service. Jon would make the best sushi in town even if he was stuck in the woods with no electricity or running water!

Our go to location is Lasalle one, this was first time at Tecumseh.
Enjoyed the open upstairs seating. Service time was more compared to Lasalle outlet. Although same taste and as always delicious vegetarian options. Walkerville, Mango and LA are our favourite rolls.

I’ve come to this Kona Sushi location multiple times and it’s always been consistently great. The atmosphere is cool and relaxed, the place inside is cute. The music they play is always a vibe, the staff is very friendly, but not overbearing at all. Never had an issue with the food, it’s always been delicious. It’s our go to date night spot seeing as we’re within walking distance! Love this place.

Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had. I’m from Ottawa, and after eating at Kona, sushi back home just doesn’t compare anymore — it’s genuinely ruined Ottawa sushi for me in the best way possible.
Everything was incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavor. The peanut sauce was especially unique and unforgettable — something I’ve never had anywhere else and still think about.
This was a truly notable experience and a place I would go out of my way to return to.

Had a great experience at Kona Sushi! The food was fresh, delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server Essie was amazing; super friendly, funny, and really made the visit enjoyable. She checked on us often and kept the vibes positive. Definitely recommend, especially if you get Essie as your server!
