We are new to the area and found this on line. I wanted an upscale place to celebrate our anniversary. The Rose Plantation delivered. They asked if we we celebrating anything. Once I told them it was for our anniversary they put a little sign on the table. We were offered champagne or cheesecake on the house. I thought that was a nice gesture. The staff and food were amazing. We will be going back

Simply the finest dining experience I’ve had. My wife surprised me for my birthday and the timing of the reservation was impeccable. We had nearly the entire establishment to ourselves, save for Joe the pianist and the rest of the staff (thank you to Mike and Mindy). Every bite was fresh and delicious, they are not playing around with the crab cakes- best tasting thing I’ve ever tried that came out of the ocean. Prime rib was excellent as well. I really don’t have a negative thing to say. Cannot wait to treat my wife next time!

The other people that ordered was told that the sandwiches are big and no need for a side . Well that is not true and who ever thought a chicken salad sandwich on a bun would be $19.00 . They could have added chips to it or even a pickle. This was our Christmas party so the price was different from the menu. As you can see for the price the portion is small.

We were seated in the main dining room near the piano. It has become our tradition to celebrate our Christmas dinner at the Rose Plantation. Eating with lovely Christmas tunes from the piano, it doesn’t get any better. Also, my lamb was prepared perfectly, and the strawberry-rhubarb pie provided the family sensation! Thank you Rose Plantation for another wonderful holiday tradition!

Our social group had dinner here and it was outstanding! I had the maple-glazed pork chop over polenta, with broccolini, for dessert I had the banana cream pie. The pork chop was by far one of the best that I have had. The staff did an amazing job of taking care of our group. I will definitely be back.

We decided to go to dinner on Valentines day just a day or two ahead. Due to the late notice, only time available was for early afternoon. Ww made an appointment for 2:15. Really enjoyed the lunch. She especially enjoyed the Valin-tini (sp) cocktail. The service was outstanding, the food was excellent. We will be back.

We enjoy trying new places and The Rose Plantation is a new favorite!! We are from Maine and had the best Crab cake and Salmon ever! The place is absolutely beautiful and the staff is wonderful!! What an ABSOLUTELY amazing experience!!! Ambience; AMAZING Food; AMAZING Employees; AMAZING Guitarist; AMAZING The ONLY thing I would’ve changed was that the back deck was under a tarp for construction which made our lake view a little less pretty. But I’m CERTAIN that when the construction is done, the deck, will too, be AMAZING! It’s not like that aspect was anything that could be changed, we realize repairs and upgrades are necessary, so it was all fine! I’m excited to return to see how the new patio looks, sounds like it’s going to be beautiful! I CANNOT express how 100% impressed and satisfied I was with EVERYTHING! THANK YOU ALL for making my mom’s birthday SO special!
