The service was terrible. I waited by the counter looking at the menu, no one bothered to notice me. I asked queations about menu items, no one bothered to answer. I finally made someone pay attention to me. I asked what’s in the potato salad as I’m allergic to celery. The employee’s answer: I don’t know it’s mayo based. My mom ended up getting the potato salad and it’s literally a ramekin, the size anywhere else would put ketchup to go for fries. I got a side of fruit. I received 8 grapes and the world’s smallest orange. The broccoli cheese soup tastes more like Campbell’s cream of broccoli than anything with cheddar. They put the cost of using a credit card on to the customer. That’s literally part of the operating cost, no different than the cost of buying cups. Essentially the owners want more profit so they are offloading credit card fees onto the customer. How cheap can you be?

Super chill coffee/sandwich shop. Had the Southwest Panini and a Cinnsational Revolver, and couldn’t be happier. Awesome service, tastey food, and strong coffee made the cold day feel a lot warmer. Will be back to try the Breakfast sammys!! Be awesome today 🙂

Very nice coffee shop. The coffee is very good. Service was fast and staffed as friendly. The atmosphere is also nice. Plenty of cool knick knacks and decent music. Id come back for sure. Tables might be hard to get but they have a bar with plenty of outlets to plug in if you need to pretend to work.

Turns out they have another room full of tables in the back as well.

Absolutely AWESOME experience! First time here and we had the spicy chai, cherry cloud latte (heavenly) and the cranberry orange muffin was moist and delicious and the brownie was a perfection of chocolatey chewy goodness! Definitely coming back!!
The ambience is relaxing too

Steaming Cup has been one of my favorite downtown Waukesha stops for 3 years. The coffee is excellent, the food is consistently solid, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want from a local café — warm, comfortable, and welcoming without feeling crowded.

Service is always friendly and attentive, and even when they’re busy, the staff keeps things moving. It’s one of those places where you can come in for a quick drink or easily stay awhile with a laptop or a book.

They offer a good range of options for different diets, and the menu has enough variety that you can find something whether you want a full meal or something lighter. Parking downtown can be hit-or-miss during events, but on a normal day it’s easy enough.

Great spot for individuals, small groups, or casual meetings. If you’re in Waukesha and want a dependable local coffee shop with real character, this is it.

Cute little local café with plenty of drink, snack and quick meals options. Tea or coffee? hot or cold? Perhaps you need enough caffeine for an elephant or to get you through finals week? lol they got what you want. Geat service and always good food. They do also have gluten free bread for your sammie and several bakery options.

If you have sensory issues it can get very loud and overwhelming especially during busy lunch hours.

This is my got-to local coffee spot. The atmosphere is cozy and eclectic. My favorite menu item is the provolone wrap. My husband loves “the bomb”. The service is always awesome and the coffee is yummy. This spot especially shines in winter. It’s so nice to sit and watch the snow fall, as you sip your warm beverage. I just can’t say enough about The Steaming Cup!

Coffee was better than expected, service was a little standoff-ish, but I loved the back room. I didn’t get food but it looked good. Coffee prices were pretty good.
