The Dutch Pot Jamaican Restaurant began in 1998 after two friends lost their jobs. They started cooking and delivering meals to friends and family, with word spreading quickly. Using a makeshift setup in their backyard, they cooked authentic Jamaican cuisine. As demand grew, they opened their first restaurant. The Dutch Pot soon became a favorite for Jamaican food in the tri-county area. Now with nine locations from West Palm Beach to Miami Gardens, they offer the best taste of Jamaica in South Florida. Services include pick-up, delivery, and catering. Their commitment to excellent service and delicious food has made them popular among locals and visitors alike, inviting everyone to experience authentic Jamaican flavors.

I really enjoyed my experience at Dutch Pot! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and well-prepared. The daily specials are a great deal and definitely worth trying. The only downsides were that the service was a bit slow, and the drinks felt overpriced compared to the food. That being said, the quality of the meals makes up for it, and I’ll definitely be coming back again!

We left there totally blown away- beginning with the Welcome, the atmosphere, the Service, attentiveness of staff, and topping it off – The food ( both quantity and taste) and most important the Privacy .

Owner. I only gave 1 star just to color my screen. I lived in this area way before they opened this location. They used to have excellent service and food and it was evident because the lines stayed packed. How could u not pay attention to your profit and see that this place is horrible. And been that way for over 5 years now. The workers playing and talking over the food. No pride. Attitude is 500 degrees. No social skills.rude. and order of food so slapped together it looks like it was already in the trash before I put it in the trash a second time.Im exposing this for my community and convenience. And you as the owner should be reported because you are supposed to have inspections and held to a certain standard. Im furious

After placing my order through DoorDash and sending my elderly father to grab our lunch, he calls to 1st say they don’t have our order, but Door Dash has sent the #UrfoodReady text. 2nd, they’re treating him like he’s begging for food instead of a paying customer! So I screenshot the order with all the info as I listen to the rude clerk dismiss my 70 year old daddy I 2way call and ask for a manager. After being on hold for 14 minutes and my dad on the phone still standing there waiting for our food, I’m fuming! He was so shocked by the lack of kindness, courtesy or professionalism from the staff or the dismissive manager.
After 45 minutes, he came back with this dry chicken I couldn’t eat, nothing to wash it down, and the echo in my head of how they spoke to and treated my daddy Dutchpot just be glad I was at work! #NEVER spending my money, time, or voice referring them EVER again!

Granted the food is good, never had an issue here but it’s terrible no workers or mangers came to even see what the emergency was. A lady clearly had a seizure while waking in line she passed out to the floor no one in front or behind the counter flinched. I yelled for help to the workers in the back for assistance, I got one blank stare from an employee. I lowkey panicked cuz she kept going in and out of consciousness. I called 911 they were there in less than 5 minutes . Still no one from Dutch pot did anything to assist. It just surprised me, thank god it wasn’t a worse situation otherwise dem woulda have a bigga problem than what occurred

I went to this specific location and asked for the exclusive dining experience which was upstairs! Beautiful atmosphere. Loooooved their oxtails(wish it was a bit spicier but you can also ask for some additional hot sauce), the plantains were deliciously sweet, jerk chicken was also very good. My husband ordered the platter which had the curry goat, oxtails, beef stew…. Everything was delicious and we loooved the portion! Ask for Lulu(the server), she was sooo awesome!
