Roscoe Beefaroo 3/4/26 5 pm All Cooks wearing gloves, but front person loading trays touching every single fry and every single onion ring. Others we’re noticing. So I said, “I’m speaking to you quietly not to embarrass you, but this job certainly needs gloves for safety and health. You can’t help but touch the food with bare hands.” She screamed LOUDLY back, “THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT DOESN’T SAY THAT! I WASH MY HANDS ALL THE TIME!” I didn’t see her wash your hands once. Doesn’t matter but the job needs gloves. Culver’s has this practice perfected and McDonald’s could care less, even during COVID.

I have never been disappointed here! Burgers are very good and the turkey avocado wrap is my all time favorite. I’d like to try more menu items but that wrap is just so good I order it almost every time. Friendly staff too and plenty of them there.

Come on beef a roo do better! For the amount of money this meal cost it shouldn’t be flattened on the bottom of the bag… this is a management issue… you can’t serve this and expect it to be ok but I will say the food is good and the atmosphere is nice. The trains are really cool on the inside.

Beef-a-Roo, I give you a two!
The first time I drove up to Eau Claire, I noticed some Beef-a-Roo restaurants and was intrigued by the name. Yet, somehow, I kept missing the stops on trying to visit. One time I was in the wrong lane, another time was the place looked closed. So, it was my mission to hit it up this time around. I had actually stopped at one in Rockford after getting Velvet Robot Coffee Lab but the place was packed and the wait was longer than I wanted.
Beef-a-Roo to the rescue on my way home. I stopped by around 2pm so there was no lunch rush to contend with. I knew what I already wanted from looking at their menu from before. I got the jalapeno bacon burger with a medium fry and soda. While I was waiting for my food, I noticed they had some stickers for sale. I asked for the retro cowboy one but those were out, so I got the large circular one instead. My food only took a few minutes to be ready and I was quick to sit down and dig in.
Maybe it was from experiencing all the local places in Wisconsin but Beef-a-Roo was not worth the hype and wait. The fries were good if not anything more than average. The problem was the jalapeno bacon burger. For it having jalapeno, they were the most neutered things ever. They had no spice or flavor at all. The bacon on the burger was good when I ate the pieces that hung off the edges but had no flavor once consumed with the rest of the burger. As for the meat patty itself, it was overly greasy to the point where I think that killed any flavor that the rest of the burger may have provided.
Luckily it did do the job and fill me up for the rest of the drive home and keep me satiated until breakfast the next day but man, how disappointing it was to have a burger just fail to deliver on any flavor. As I sit here and write this the day after, I honestly struggle to remember anything about how it tasted.
I can say there were some positives about Beef-a-Roo. The staff were fast and friendly. The young girl who went hunting for my sticker was awesome at her job. And when you get your food, they give you an Andes mint. At least that has some taste.
Maybe it was just this location but I definitely have some beef with this place now. Jokes aside, if I ever find myself at a Beef-a-Roo again, I will give their roast beef sandwiches a fair shake. Maybe that’s where they excel that.

Was there about 30 ish minutes ago, and I ordered the southwest wrap and sweet potato fry’s, and my bf got a double burger with regular fries. When we got the order I never received the sweet potato fries and when I went to open the wrap my chicken was completely raw..

I visited the beef a roo on auburn street on December 27th 2025 at approximately 6:40pm. All I ordered was a medium banana shake with a cherry and no whip cream. What I got was a medium vanilla shake with no cherry and no whip cream. The girl at the counter (who also made the shake) even asked me twice what flavor and still made it wrong.

Cheeseburger was just ok. I did not enjoy the cheese sauce that comes with the fries. Tasted a little off. The soup was very salty. Best thing I had was the carrot cake. They have cute mugs for sale a little pricey though. The inside of the restaurant was nice and clean. Overall just an average place.

Big mistake! I fell for the long line trap and it was a total disaster. The lady taking orders was about as helpful as a screen door on a submarine, and the food? Smelled like crayons and tasted even worse. Won’t be back

Third time here and I don’t anticipate returning. The building and service are fine but the food quality let me down all 3 times. I would prefer Arby’s to this beef sandwich. Fries and burgers are also strictly mediocre, even the soda from the dispensers tasted musty. Cost cutting in their ingredients is evident. Clean restroom though. (Edited to 1 star after this meal ruined my evening with cramps and diarrhea. Thanks a lot. ) Won’t return to any of these places.
