After doing some research on where to find the best prime rib in the Cleveland area, so many people recommended Timber Lodge!
My fiance and I had our dinner here last night and were blown away!
We walked in on Saturday around 6:15 and got on the waiting list and were seated about 40 min. It’s ok, we were expecting a bit of a wait, especially since they don’t take reservations on Fridays or Saturdays. They have a convenient waiting list system that allows you to check your place in line, estimated time wait time, and will text you when they are ready to seat you! It was nice to wait in our car, much more comfortable!
Our server was Joni and she was so fantastic! A bubbly, friendly personality and went above and beyond to make sure our meal was perfect! She gave the right amount of attentiveness and everything came out the way we ordered it!
We tried the Ahi Tuna Appetizer that was on special that night, no pic though because we ravenously devoured it It was perfectly seared rare, served with sweet soy and wasabi cream sauces.
I felt so lucky because we literally got the last 2 servings of prime rib and they were perfectly cooked to order, the au jus and horseradish cream sauces compliments the meat, and it had a savory delicious flavor with herbs and seasonings. The cuts were excellent and had the typical/expected amount of meat to fat ratio. My salad was served on a chilled dish (great attention to detail!!) which kept it crisp and refreshing, while the house made Dijon vinaigrette was delicious!!!
I also had the asparagus which was prepared well, it tasted fresh and was nice that it wasn’t oily or over seasoned!
We passed on cocktails and dessert but would perhaps try some on our next visit, and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful! First time dining here, recommend by friends and finally made it! We have gone to the ice festival for past 5+ years and wish we would have came here sooner for dinner! Sally our hostess was great! Prime rib, steak burger, stuffed peppers appetizer…martinis!! And HUGE piece of chocolate cake. Very enjoyable Will definitely return!!

We went to Timber Lodge for Christmas Eve dinner, since there are so few of us now, cooking a big meal just didn’t make sense. We decided to start a new tradition and chose Timber Lodge as our go-to spot. We were absolutely not disappointed!
The Christmas Eve food selection was fantastic, and both the food and service were truly top-notch. The French Onion soup? Hands down the best I’ve ever had. We finished off the meal with dessert sundaes, and the photos speak for themselves—absolutely amazing.

A friend recommended Timber Lodge for Happy Hour and after looking at the iHappy Hour menu it looked good. The patio was small and was attached to the front of the brick building so it didn’t look very cool and we chose to sit inside in the bar area, which is where you could order from the Happy Hour menu. We had a choice of 3 small booths or the bar so we sat at a booth. The booths were small with barely enough room for 4 adults and the dining area was small. Our Server Allie was very kind and highly efficient. Everything was brought out quickly and she kept checking on us throughout the meal. We ordered the 5 meatball appetizer, which was delicious and enough for sharing. We also tried the steakhouse burger, which I found to be very salty but cooked perfect and the Philly Steak that was served fresh and loaded with peppers, onions and cheese. There was a small selection of draft beers and some bottles and cans. We ordered the Alaska Brewery IPA, Truth IPA, a martini and the Skyy Citrus Cosmos, that seemed watered down and not much flavor. We ended our meal with the Italian lemon cream cake that was the perfect size and not too sweet. Other than the salty burger and watered down Skyy Citrus Cosmos, everything was pretty good.

Our experience at Timber Lodge tonight was truly outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely delicious.
We were especially grateful to have Becky as our waitress. We have a son with Autism, and Becky was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating, not only to our family, but to our son in a way that meant more than she probably realizes. She took the time to interact with him, talk with him, and make him feel seen and valued. The joy this brought to our son, and to our entire family, was truly priceless. Dining out can often be very difficult for families like ours, and unfortunately, we do not always receive this level of understanding or care at other restaurants.
Tonight was different. We didn’t feel singled out or uncomfortable, we felt included. That is how every family should feel when they go out to eat.
Because this experience meant so much to us, we made a point to share it with the manager as we were leaving. It was important for us to acknowledge the care, compassion, and professionalism shown by Becky and the entire staff.
Living in Medina, Ohio, we are proud to have a restaurant like Timber Lodge in our community, one that truly practices inclusion and is so welcoming and accommodating to individuals with disabilities.

We hadn’t been in here quite some time as last experience was not great. Came in and sat at the bar due to a packed house. Even though it was quite busy bartender / server was attentive and friendly. Ordered calamari, surf and turf, and smoked guoda lobster / shrimp Mac and cheese. Food was excellent. We will be back.

A close friend and I were in Medina checking out the area for a fraternity reunion and, after reviewing a number of restaurants thought we would try the Timber Lodge. We found the staff to be excellent and our server could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. We spent two hours sitting near the fire enjoying the warm atmosphere and our tremendous Salmon and USDA Prime meals. I don’t see what’s so special about this place. The food was good. The service was good. The atmosphere was average. We were surprised by the big size of the slices of cake that we got in to-go boxes. Overall, I’ve had better meals for half the cost. Just my two cents. Hope this helps someone.
