Unfortunately my husband and I did not have a good experience at Blue Bay. I ordered a BLT and he ordered a Reuben. First of all, I understand that this is a family diner and I shouldn’t expect a 5 star dinner however, as I was taking bites from my sandwich, I noticed that one of the tomatoes had a spot of blue mold on it. My husband’s Reuben had very little to almost no meat on his sandwich. Our server did make it right by comping my meal and offering to make another but at that point I lost my appetite.

We eat here often when we visit this town. They have a great senior menu. I ordered the roasted chicken and got 4 large pieces of great tasting chicken, a salad, a baked potatoe and a piece of cheese cake. There were 5 seniors in our party and everyone enjoyed their food. The only issue we had was we were asked by the young waitress if we wanted fruit on our cheesecake. She failed to tell us that would an extra $3 each.

I ordered pancakes with a side of eggs. The pancakes were good. The eggs were very runny. I barely touched the eggs. The made the eggs again, and they were slightly better. The people were very friendly. The restaurant is clean, but it had an odor that was pleasant to me.

This is my first time to eat here and its all packed. Which is a good thing. Our server wish I’ve gotten her name but we can tell that she love what she do, because it shows. The food was delicious ordered farmers skillet and its so good! Will definitely gonna back again.

I’ve beer at Blue Bay Restaurant a few times and the food is actually pretty good, sometimes the service is great and sometimes the service is a little slow, whether it’s slow or busy. I’ve had the breakfast most of the time and it’s pretty freaking awesome. I’ve also had the Philly steak but had to modify it a bit and it was alright. So far as far as my opinion goes you can’t go wrong with the breakfast.

Met a friend here for a long breakfast. We had great service and the waitress was very accepting of us just sitting there wanting to talk for a while. When we did finally order our food it was ready quickly and it was good. It was about as good as you could get from a diner like this. It’s a very old fashioned and quaint little place. I would recommend it and I would return.

Slice of America that most say is gone. This place had two groups of gentlemen holding court and discussing the world. Friendly from the moment I walked in the door. Couldn’t hardly drink my coffee they were keeping it so topped off. I ordered the namesake special and an extra order of biscuits and gravy so I had another meal later in the day. My order ended up making three meals. The surprise item was the potato pancakes. I’ve never had them like this. They combine pancake batter with shredded potatoes to make a potato pancakes. I know that sounds silly but I was expecting a potato hashround by a different name. This thing was delicious. I really liked it with gravy. They gave me syrup also and that was tasty but gravy is the way to go in my book. Super friendly staff. This spot is slightly off the interstate but it should be must stop at when you are about half an hour 45min from Milwaukee. This place earned thier 5 stars.

If you love Perkins you might possibly like this place. It’s like an off brand Perkins. There is advertising all over the menus and paper place mats. On the back of the menu they state they offer a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere but I felt like I was in a mid 90s diner with early 2000s music in the background.The crapes were room temperature but the portion was large. The turkey dinner was very generic but also a large portion. The interior is outdated and seats have rips in them. The spoon had dried food on it so we just swapped it with the table next to us. Our server was good and prompt. I Gave two stars because there is a ceiling, heat and electricity.
