One of the best restaurants with amazing and beautiful views. Staff is all incredible and very knowledgeable especially Daniel. It was a pleasure to have dinner and breakfast at this restaurant. The food was always done as asked and very tasty. I will definitely recommend the restaurant and will come back

The restaurant needs a deep clean. I was very surprised at how dirty the venue is. The pillars are illuminated by possible UV light and this clearly made visible a layer of thick dust. The windows are very dirty. It is a shame as the views from the top of the Crowne Plaza are very good. The service was good. I ordered a Rib Eye steak. The sharp steak knife struggled to cut through thecsteak. I gave up trying to find any of this piece of steak edible as it was very chewy. Compared to other Rib eye steaks this was def in the worst ever. The manager dealt with the steak issue very well.

Had a 20:15 table for two as we were staying in the hotel. On the whole I was disappointed, especially considering the prices and perhaps my expectations.

Both starters were fine, bread as a side was delicious provided with a spreadable generous helping of salted butter which came in a warmed pot.

I had mixed grill as a main dish which was nice apart from the steak portion which was overdone for my liking and almost unchewable.

At the point of ordering I wasn’t asked how I would like it cooked, which I found odd and my 7 chips were overcooked and greasy. At no point were we asked if everything was satisfactory with our meals, which it wasn’t. I would have got up to approach staff myself but my partner didn’t want me making a fuss.

The ambience was spoilt for us by a table near the bar which was seating some children. The adults didn’t seemed to mind them leaving their seats and running about and neither did the staff however I am sure the Hotel H&S representative might well have done. Considering people are moving around in limited lighting carrying glasses, sharp cutlery and expensive hot food little darlings should perhaps be better managed by their mothers. My partner and I couldn’t hear ourselves over their joyous screaming and giggling but who really cares as long as they weren’t out in a cold wet playground as they should have been if they wanted to chase each other about.

I was also annoyed at a service charge being added to our bill, especially considering we didn’t really get any!

It seems management are disinterested, the restaurant is no doubt busy due to the owners name and the fact it’s popular with hotel guests staying on site but imo staff need re-training and a little more care and thought should be spent on looking after paying patrons. If kids are going to be running amok potential customers should be told of this prior to booking. A steakhouse that doesn’t know how to manage or serve steak? What are the odds….

The servers were amazing. The food was great, high quality and tasty. Would have 5* the atmosphere except the window we sat in had too much blue light, we had to use our phone torch to read the menu….

My daughter and I enjoyed afternoon tea, which I received as a Mothers Day gift. It was a very special experience and one we will remember. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. The food was presented in a lovely stand. It was tasty and perfectly portioned. The restaurant is in the Penthouse, and so the views out to see really made the experience more memorable. If I could improve anything, it would be the scones that appeared the type you would buy in a supermarket, out of a packet, dry and mass produced, they were enjoyable but didn’t reflect the high standard of everything else. But everything was so nice that this was just a minor observation. It was very quiet, so we felt a
bit awkward until others arrived for lunch but better than it being bustling. An excellent experience

I just had the most perfect romantic dinner! We were given a lovely corner table, and everything was spot on—from the mouth-watering rib eye steak to the delicious pear salad. The service was top-notch; our drinks were topped up, and the staff were so friendly. Honestly, I can’t recommend this place enough for a special night out!

Breakfast in our house is far better. MPW may offer an experience of a lifetime. What he lacks is a warmth of welcome or acknowledgement of familiarity. This means a room full of strangers competing for breakfast, not a group of people getting to know one another. So, an average below average.

Came before and whilst always a chain restaurant feel, felt special enough. Now it is genuinely a hotel restaurant with the same quality and atmosphere as if you were on an away week with work. Chain hotel food at hugely premium price point, took 3 hours for our dinner in total with multiple things wrong. Absolutely not worth it.

We had our family Christmas Day lunch at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill at the Crowne Plaza Plymouth, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish.

The food was superb — several of us agreed it was one of the best Christmas meals we’ve had — but what really stood out was the kindness and professionalism of the team. Francesca, the restaurant manager, showed genuine personal care and discretion that made a real difference to our family on a very special day.

Our server, Bindi, was attentive, thoughtful, and calm throughout, striking exactly the right balance between service and space.

Outstanding food, warm hospitality, and a team that clearly cares. Highly recommended.

The food was excellent and the service was OK but not the standard I would expect when paying over £100 per head. All small minor things, but overall detracted from the experience. The atmosphere was good but quite noisy due to other guests, although I appreciate that this is outside their control. If you want great food and don’t mind a ‘normal’ restaurant service then this is the restaurant to go to.
